User reviews

Good but can be better

While it’s a good app some things I dislike are how slow it is when loading and that it doesn’t send notifications when you’re book is ready and stuff like that

For Later Shelf

I love that I can get to my For Later booklist from the opening screen. No more writing titles on post its for my visits to the library.

Can’t open app

4/27 Doesn’t anyone look at these reviews or check that the updates actually work?
Update 4/25: Still can’t use the app at all - immediately crashes after opening. PLEASE fix this ASAP!
Since downloading the update yesterday, I can’t get the app to open - it gets to the welcome screen & crashes into the background. Please, please fix this! I use the app almost every day.
Normally I’m pretty happy with the app, although I really miss being able to read other’s reviews & leave more than just a star rating. We could do both in the old format of the app. It would be nice to get that capability back. It would also be nice to be able to customize your homescreen to choose what categories you want to see, rather than the preassigned New, TV & Video, Events, etc. most of which don’t interest me. I miss the old Recently Reviewed category - I found a lot of good books that way.

Random account drops

Worked fine for about a year, then suddenly began giving misinformation, eg No Books Checked Out, then started saying Account ID or PIN not correct. Nothing worked to fix it. Began logging in via the web.

Miss old app

The old app worked great! This new one is terrible. I cannot see my holds list, my materials that are out, etc. I end up logging on to the library website instead.
