There is a wonderful video hosted by Sonya Shafer cofounder of Simply Charlotte Mason where she explains how to Memorize Scripture in Just Five Minutes Each Day. MyPearls brings those ideas to your phone in a convenient format. It comes with over a hundred stock verses in several translations. You can also add your favorite verses at anytime. As verses are memorized they are automatically promoted from Daily to Even/Odd, Weekly, then Monthly. Many of the cards start off as Pending but get rotated into the review list as Daily cards are memorized. The home page is what you will mostly use. It shows a card containing a reference and a verse which starts out as blurred. After pondering the reference you press the blue button to reveal the scripture text. If your recall was correct you can press Yes, otherwise press No. Your responses will be used to promote the card whenever it looks like you have it memorized. A new card will then become available for memorization as explained in the video.
