The WU fix!
Where weather underground has dropped the ball and has discontinued just about every useable feature, I was pleased to find the myPWS app, which does all that and more. This is one app that I did not mind spending money on. The developers saw the need and came up with a wonderful solution. Thanks 🙏

Die recht teuren knapp Käufe müssen bei jedem fast jeden Neustart wieder hergestellt werden,sehr nervig, Auch das fehlen von widget ist nicht so toll. Ansonsten funktioniert es wie beschrieben .
Best weather station app
Love this app, I’ve tried all of them I think and this is still my favourite. I just feel bad for my partner who has an android cos it’s not available - but kudos to the developer who put a lot of thinking into this app - thank you!
MyPWS complication series 11 A+
I was pleasantly surprised when my Weather Underground station temperature showed up on my watch infograph and modular complications as advertised. The update does seem to be random times but in general its fine. I suspect this is more a watch issue than the app. It does update immediately if I actually hit the complication to see the underlying details and return. My only suggestion for improvement and why I took off a star is the legend page. This page should show the icon and a text description to clearly explain. I would also like to be able to reorder the detail page. The app is definitely a winner and it is really useful for me to see the temp in my backyard.

Used to be great
Used to be great when I could look at my watch and see the current temp from my weather station. But watch complication stopped updating last year, September 2024. I even opened a ticket in October as suggested by the support page and have not received a single update on status. Watch complication still does not ever update. If looking for auto update on the watch, might have to look elsewhere as this app is currently broken in that regard.

Not working on iPad 13” Pro. (M4)
before two updates !!!! back it worked perfectly on my iPad Pro with IOS26.1 . I waited after the first update for another in case it was a blip but the next update did not work either.

Just use ws view plus
Everything is behind a paywall and if you don’t want to be annoyed while yang this app you just need to buy every feature. I bought most of the and I’m deleting this as ws view plus literally does all of it for free
Latest update crashing
Love this app & use it daily. Latest app update (says for IOS26 which I’m not running as older phone) starts, then after initial screen displayed, there is a short delay then app crashes & closes. Tried several times. Wunderground is up.

This app is great but this version loads upon updating then unloads and goes back to the update screen.

broken update released today 1.10. this is what was put on app store. I have not found a way to contact developer..was a great program but this update broke it.
Awesome app. Absolutely worth the spend!
I’ve been using myPWS for quite a while. Upgraded and got the watch app too. Is a fantastic setup and the complication holds pride of place on my watch face and on my phone Home Screen.
Money grabbing
The app is useful however after purchasing I got nagware saying for extra features which should come as standard have to be paid for. This includes running the app in the Apple Watch. Not recommended.

I have access to the weather at my camp in the bush wherever I am. I can see what I am missing at home and take action if needed from anywhere.
App would be perfect if it had Widigits
This app would be PERFECT if it had device widgets. Developer says it’s not possible yet. They have an Apple Watch widget that calls for data the same amount of time. Other apps have widgets, but not an Apple Watch app or usable Apple Watch widgets. It’s a shame this app does not offer device widgets.

Why do I have to keep restoring the purchase?!
It used to be a few times a year but now is about once or twice a week that I have to restore purchases when it refuses to work on my Apple Watch. I’ve rarely ever had to restore a purchase of any other app, why does this one keep requiring it?!!!
Cool app maybe wrong timing.
I loaded the app and subscribed to all the features. 15 seconds later nothing was available. WU was up and operating on other apps. Maybe a glitch but pretty crappy for a first time see how cool the app is. To bad I can’t get that money back. Hopefully it comes back on line!
Great with the older watch faces
This app works perfectly with the older Apple Watch photo and portrait watch faces, but I found that even installing the new Photos watch face (introduced in watch OS 11?) breaks the watch app for all faces. No data will display and the app itself will not stay open until you delete the new Photos watch face and reboot the watch.
