Never use the straight line thing. Just messed up my whole homework. And crashed. It booted me out and I couldn’t use the undo button anymore.

It took me forever to re-find this app because you changed the name, it strangely left the “n” logo.

Handwriting convection issue
When I try to convert handwritten text to typed text, the app crashes.
APP DOES NOT WORK
I downloaded the app into my ios for my ipad and after the first page it prompts you to pick a language and after you pick a language you can't even press next to get into the app. Such a shame because it seems like a really good app. If I could put zero stars I would. I went to the official page of the app to submit a complaint and for some reason I was not able to send the email to customer service. Like if the send button was frozen. I'm hoping this app will be fixed soon.

My Notes won’t sync
I have been writing notes on my laptop and have it connected to my google drive and the notes won’t sync to my phone. My Google drive has plenty of storage and I can’t find any resolution. I never had this problem before until I updated my phone to the latest app version. I’m so annoyed because now I can’t study my notes everywhere I go which is what I was paying for!!!

Requesting shortcut for “Create document”
Just started using the app and it looks great so far for handwriting to text conversion. I want to request a feature - for iOS, can also allow creating Documents (just like Board & notebook) from “Shortcuts” in apple?

From undergrad degrees, to shopping lists, to graduate degrees, Nebo has simplified my life. I’m an on-the-go person on and off the road for work and studying in between, and Nebo has made it easy to type and write notes for work, life, language learning, and school. Great app!
A while ago I left a fairly negative review for the developers because I felt they had scammed me out of my money with a bogus subscription. Nevertheless, they hear your complaints and work to resolve them. The app itself has been exactly what I've needed for my church responsibilities. I'm able to keep my notes organized! I also love the fact I can go back and have my handwriting converted to text!

OK, but Needs Work
I hope to see improvements on the typing function where a hard press on the typewriter icon will allow you to se the fonts prior to typing. Maybe allow the eraser tool to erase highlights only rather than the typed material, as you can select the type and delete it anyway. Also does it always have to open the pages screen on the left if you’ve closed it once. I appreciate it has a one-time payment option because that’s a rarity.

None Better
Goes from strength to strength. There is nothing better than MyScript Notes if you are looking for a cross platform app with a perpetual or subscription option. It does require DropBox for sync across the platform but if you don’t need mutli-platform then you don’t need DB. Complete and flexible app for multiple uses. I have seen it grow over the years. App store say it is only available for iOS but as expected, is running brilliantly on my MBP laptop on the MacOS, where I am writing this review. Congratulations and Thanks to the developers.

Great for its purpose
I’ve been using this app for uni for a bit more than a semester. I really love the simplicity and how easy it is to use. It has everything I need to help me study efficiently compared to actually handwriting. Considering one of the target audiences are uni students (such as myself), I think it would be beneficial to include more organisational elements. Such as being able to archive collections, having folders within folders, etc. Another small thing I noticed is I haven’t been able to copy paste links into the documents.

Lasso won’t move selected
When I use lasso, I can’t move selected, please make an update and make sure the update makes the lasso tool move selected items. And resize won’t work either.
Unfortunate
The app doesn’t allow you to test its handwriting recognition capabilities without buying, making the app worthless to a student or a career professional. Although I was ready to abandon Goodnotes, it’s still the only leading note-taking app with handwriting recognition capabilities.
AI? Quizzes? Keep it simple, stupid!
I agree with Steve@Aberdeen’s review. This app does everything you need from a note-taking app, and does it very well. Its handwriting recognition in particular is superb – far better than any others.
But the authors are starting to add distracting bells and whistles. It links to some kind of AI engine. You can set up a “Study Space”, which is an automated way of producing an interactive quiz from your notes.
FFS – just focus on being the best note-taking app out there, and cut out all the ridiculous distractions.

This IS the best note taking app. I DO have horrible handwriting, this app better interprets my hieroglyphics than its reviews. More is not more accurate. I loved MyScript stylus, but this builds on a foundation. I think better with meditative cursive writing. This IS the app I will be using.
Great at notetaking horrible at syncing
I got this app because I needed something that did very well with handwritten recognition as well as backed up to a cloud base server. I am in and out of clients homes on a regular basis and had left my notebook full of Client notes accidentally in someone’s house a few times. The notes were probably worth thousands of dollars to me. I got the app because of its ability to recognize handwriting as well as to sync to a cloud base server. The app does one of these well. the syncing is horrible multiple times a week I have to reconnect it to the server. I can never trust that. It’s actually backing up my notes and always have to be double checking. In this day and age when things back up automatically, it is very annoying to have to be double checking to make sure your backup solution is actually working. By the way, I paid for a lifetime, premium subscription, so I’m not just trying to do this without paying for it. I also paid for the same subscription on my android device, which does not work at all.

ALL FEATURES NOW BLOCKED TO FORCE PREMIUM
I’ve been using this to take notes for work for 3 years bc of the convenient features like writing with pen and tapping to convert to text, scratching out to erase. I use it every day. Suddenly today every time I write and tap or try to erase, I get a pop up that this feature is only available if you subscribe. These are not premium features but basic features that make this app now unusable in the free version. Don’t bother. Ruined one of the best notes apps there was.
