It could just be me, but….
I cannot get this to work for the life of me. Location services are on, it just won’t load a thing. I won’t give up though. I’ll keep going!

BGS seem to have withdrawn this App and users are advised to go to the UK Soil Observatory (UKSO) map viewer, which seems to be targeted to a different, more professional user base. It would be helpful if BGS could place a prominent note within the App and the App Store entry explaining what has happened. There is nothing at all about the change in either at present. The UKSO notes are confusing and contradictory.

Just downloaded this app for an iPhone 13 and found it simply doesn’t load the map! I just get “Error loading tile” message whatever I do. Is there a fault?

They withdraw the MSP and say ‘but look, shiny new App Thingie!’ Except the Shiny New App thingie isn’t working. And there doesn’t seem to be an app at all to replace the old geology maps. Very poor.

Is it just me? The app does not load any information (mapping)

Was a very useful app, but now only comes up with error or not loading

Tap the map and an icon appears with the message: ‘ Loading soil information ‘ (I think that is what it says, it lasts for about half a second) and then absolutely nothing. Perfectly useless.
And, the previously wonderful geological map of Britain is no longer available. Very disappointing.
