Did AI write this game? Because nothing in this game makes any sense. It’s ridiculously hard. And I’ve been playing these kinds of games for 15 years. It’ll be awhile before I buy any games from your company again.

UPDATE April 17th: Today, Friendly Fox has released a new MadHead game. It’s called Beyond: The Fading Signal. This game is a bit different because it falls under a thriller/sci-fi sub-genre. I previewed it and I think you’ll be excited about it. Just purchase, play and enjoy!
On to this game. The fatal error in Chapter One has been repaired, and the game is now playable. I myself did not enjoy it. I normally love games which have a paranormal sub -genre theme. However, the graphics were terrible and lacked visual acuity. The lack of touchscreen sensitivity on the gameplay interface was appalling! My wrists were killing me from tapping so hard. Most of the mini games were rotational and tedious to play. Some of the mini games were very difficult to manipulate. It was difficult to see the objects in a lot of the HO scenes because the graphics were terrible. We were treated to a couple of new inventory tools; most of them were the type of tools we’ve seen many times before (shovels, screwdrivers, knives, gloves, etc) and I was tired of using them. I also did not enjoy banishing the ghosts. Plus every Chapter you had to keep looking at the different types of ghosts in your notebook. Every time the notebook was updated, an exclamation point appeared in your journal. It wouldn’t leave the screen until you looked over the new evidence entered into it.
At least the storyline was a bit different. That being said, I found this game overly lengthy, extremely exhausting to play, and glitchy. Unfortunately, my rating will only be two stars. If not for the aforementioned issues, I would have rated it 3.5 stars.

At the moment, this game has a fatal error and is unplayable. My Director of Quality Assurance found it very quickly. It is missing an integral hidden object scene in a hallway after you retrieve an inventory item from a lake. This occurred early on, in Chapter one. I have already written directly to Oleg. I have also contacted my support liaison. Remember, Oleg has an incentive to repair the game, which is that he won’t bank revenue if you can’t play. (If you can’t play you won’t purchase!) Now we wait. A game with a fatal error is an automatic one star rating. Of course once it is playable the rating will be adjusted accordingly.

Not my favorite
I normally love these games by DO but the ghostly apparitions that constantly occur when I hit a particular space is annoying as is having to double and triple tap an object in the HOGs. No voice over by the characters either. Not a fan of this one but I paid for the deluxe version so stuck with it till the end 😕
