MyTeaching App

MyTeachingApp™ has been created by an accredited teacher for teachers in Australia to support them with their professional development goals by simplifying the process to maintain their teaching accreditation, on a device always on hand: the smartphone. Marc Philippe Grossman who has been teaching for over 30 years, observing how long colleagues were spending on their PDP plans on multiple platforms, (including paper) and how time consuming it was to identify the relevant teaching standards in relation to their yearly Performance and Development Plans (PDP) goals and associated activities (Classroom observations, Lessons plans). This sparked the idea to digitalize the process around managing teachers’ PDP plans with their required professional activities and validate their PDP Goals. This is how MyTeachingApp™ saw the light of day: a 100% digital and innovative mobile application that streamlines PDP goal planning and execution whilst saving precious time. The core focus of MyTeachingApp™ is to help teachers better connect with their everyday teaching practice to the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (APST) or more commonly referred to as the Teaching Standards.
