Excellent app a must have for MythTV
The best way to enjoy mythtv app works great and menu is great
Not working in version 35
Great app but it’s not working in version 35
Stopped working entirely for me after my backend was updated to version 34
This was a wonderful app. It stopped working for me after I updated my backend to version 34. It also isn’t working for me on 35. I would have given it 5 stars for the way it used to work for me. Hopefully, we’ll get an update someday that will fix this.
Thanks for the update!
Thanks for the update! The gallery works great now with Myth 32 backend. Great and beautiful app.
Missing a PIN entry field
I cannot connect to my MythTV backend without supplying a PIN and this does not allow the user to enter one. If you have set the Security PIN to anything other than 0000, you won’t like this app.
I wish I had this app 10 years ago
In early 2004, I set up MythTV for my husband because I knew Linux at the time better than he did. I am blind so working on the command line wasn't an issue, but once we got it up and running, I could no longer read the screens in its graphical environment.
We've been using Myth TV since then, but for me to watch I always had to use MythWeb and play recordings on a frontend, and I could never access LiveTV.
Finally, using VoiceOver on my iPHONE you have provided me with a completely accessible solution. This is well worth what I spent. It is so exciting to be able to carry my phone around to listen to all the shows I've recorded. Thanks so much for bringing me an accessible MythTV experience!

Works well
Works with my Myth backend running on a Pi. Setup is simple and easy, just put your backend IP in and that’s pretty much it.
I’ve had a few time’s where it has hung but pretty stable.

No subtitles or closed captioning support
Works great with my backend running on .29 and still cannot get captions to work right on both iPhone and iPad.
Easy to use
Exactly what I was looking for. Clean and easy to use UI and got it up and running in seconds
Flawless playback
I’m very happy with the purchase of this app. I can now watch live and recorded MPEG2 streams with no issues whatsoever.
Thanks for creating this app!
I’d love to see some more features like backend status, upcoming recordings, and different skins.

Better than nothing
On the upside, it plays video from MythTV. However, scrubbing doesn’t work, and neither does skipping forward/back 30 seconds.
Doesn’t play a recording that is still being recorded.
So it’s a decent start, but it’s not there yet.

Works Great with MythTV 0.29
Live TV wasn’t working with Myth 0.28 but Recordings did. Upgraded backend to Myth 0.29 and now Live TV and Recordings both work great on all the iOS devices in the house. Great to have a polished option for MythTV on iOS rather than messing with Plex plugins. Watching football on an iPad on the deck as I type this. Worth every penny! Thanks!

Works well on iPhone and iPad
This is the first application I have used that actually works with live TV on a MythTV backend. You can watch recordings, too.
Tuner selection is manual (don’t try to use the “All” option or a tuner that is already in use - it will throw an error). Apart from that, it works perfectly.
For roaming use (via WAN/3G/4G) remember to set your firewall so that ports 6544 & 6543 are NATed to your MythTV backend server.
