Can’t access the server
Tried downloading twice, each time the app won’t connect to the server or let me play. I assume I need tech help or there’s a code glitch. Customer service is hopefully good! Looks like a fun game and I want to try it.
Needs Internet
Why the heck does this game require an active internet connection to play in single player? Most people buy text-based mobile games to play on their commute or during breaks at work. I understand that you would need one if you’re playing with a friend, but if you’re playing single player, the game should work without one. Instead, it refuses to load the adventures. I even have a mobile data plan, but it’s apparently not enough to download the data for this TEXT-based game.

Abandoned?
I like the idea behind this game but it seems to have been abandoned by the developers. Try to connect to the store for new episodes and it crashes. Nothing looks to have been updated on the app or social media in some time.

Hello nmarchetti, thanks for the comment. We paused for sure, but are in the process of enhancing the story and overall features. We collected a lot of feedback and are trying to address the changes in an update soon to hit the store. I think everyone will enjoy it. Thanks again for the comment.

A while back I was having issues playing the game on my phone. The dev team quickly got into contact with me & resolves the issue. Been enjoying the app since actually being able to play it!

Mythion
I love the concept, but unfortunately many times in the story instead of giving me choices it just says “Continue” and then proceeds as if I had made a choice I didn’t actually make. Not sure what that’s about, but to me it breaks immersion and makes the game unplayable.

That continue button was a system for us to help break up the text in longer passages after receiving some feedback that things were dragging on a bit. We'll keep this in mind moving forward and consider leaving the longer passages in so your decisions are only the meaningful ones.
Is what it says it is kinda
I still feel bad and a bit like a dissenter to write this based on all the good reviews, maybe I’ve read too many similar. Thanks for the nice response as this is a lot of work for at first glance free.

That’s the thing tho...hesitates...there’s a lot of booky choice based stories. I’m confused by the unique thing. Unless I’ve misunderstood it isn’t exactly, aside from the involve your friends part. Which I’d love to see more of some places. 80 Days is a great example of such a story that feels like reading a book.
It’s really probably a me thing. Some do seem to have heard of the stories before. I mean the writing is fine. I just wouldn’t be ready to say a (optional at first) seven dollar sub fee fine, which is still better than ads or jewels I guess.
It just honestly seems like a well designed choice app to me.
Nice art, occasional camera angles for the illusion of movement.
Was hoping for something more like the Inkle Studios books or the Fighting Fantasy gamebook app but with multiplayer.
Like that actually has a dice UI.
Maybe if I could play with internet friends not on Apple without putting them on my contacts list I might be more interested.
As it stands you use Contacts or your Apple/Android Friends lists.The multiplayer is more for as they say if you can’t get together with your usual game group.
All and all I think this was meant for a certain crowd that already knew what it would be. I do like the multiplayer idea a lot though.

An amazing escape!
Lately I’ve found that I have a lot more time on my hands - Mythion Adventures has been a great escape. Love that I can play with my friends (I’ve never seen a multiplayer app on my phone).
I’m also a big reader myself and love that you get to choose your OWN adventure and determine how the story will continue. So much fun!

Immersive experience!
Rich story, made engaging by diving in deep where you want, or choosing to take a different path when you’re ready to change things up.
I’ll comment on the UX/UI as well- I appreciated the auto text scrolling, and the ability to adjust the pace. It gives the story, itself, more life. As well, the ability to scroll back up to catch anything you missed, then seamlessly catch up to where you left off, is well thought out and makes for a quality user experience.
Overall, highly recommended!

Engaging storyline and adventure
As I started through the story I quickly settled in to the characters and found myself wanting to unwrap the mystery. Vivid imagery used in the descriptions is very engaging. Having some control over the next part of the story is a great twist. Looking forward to unraveling this.

Give this game a try
I don’t usually review the games I play, but I feel it is important to comment on this new game. I find myself becoming deeply involved in this innovative and captivating storyline. Before I know it the gang(The mysterious Rosen, the sturdy and resourceful dwarf Maalik, and the young mage Erwan, who is full of promise, but often needs guidance from his troop of players), and I are off and running into the adventures ahead of us hoping to do good and solve the dangers and traps in front of us.
This new and creative game deserve a serious look.

Unique game/book
Mythion adventures captures the wonder of known adventure games while being the first to do so as a multiplayer mobil app. It really makes you feel like you are a part of they’re fantasy world. I can’t wait to see where the future adventure installments take me. For any casual gamer or avid reader mythion adventures is a must.
