I paid $35 and could not get into the app while traveling in Gettysburg
Useless.
I bought the CDs for the Gettysburg tour that went with this. Logged in and entered the code to get the app to work with the CDs. Sorry, that code was used too many times. I go into the store, all the books have the same code. I text the number for support on a weekday, no reply. I call the number and leave a voicemail. No reply. Sent a support message via their app. No reply. The CDs were a waste of $40 and the app is useless without the codes. Don’t waste your time or money on either.

Very happy with this!
After using My Tour Guide I was very pleased with how detailed and accurate everything is. Will definitely be using this to learn more about the world around me. I will definitely be purchasing more tours in the future.
Gettysburg
Gettysburg tour doesn’t work.
App doesn’t work and there’s no tech support
Puchased the Yellowstone guidebook and cannot download the tour to iPhone. It stalls out on “reconfiguring app”. Considering there is little cell coverage in Yellowstone, the app is useless without being able to download. And there is no tech support to be found.

Very disappointing. Spent three hours at Gettysburg trying to get app to work. Did not know how to contact any customer service. Will not purchase another
“Used” at Gettysburg
Purchased the access code at the gift shop at the museum for $30. The app/tour was useless. It didn’t work at all.
Terrible
Every time I try to download my tour it comes up and says initializing the app. So I let it go for hours still no change. Have tried it several times. Shame they can’t build an app that works.
Awful. Save your money
Sold at NPS book store Gettysburg as the best app for iPhone. Worked for 10 minutes and then said initializing the rest of trip. Complete WASTE of money!!!!!!!!!
Horrible
Lots of bugs, had trouble connecting Bluetooth. Content is average at best. Want my money back.

Easy to download, takes some time in one place. AR feature a blast! Trying to make my own tour now.
Worst mobile app ever
I was trying to use it for a self guided tour at Gettysburg after buying it from the visitor center bookstore. This app constantly crashes and I had to re-enter the tour number and login every time it crashed. I eventually had to give up using it.
Garbage
Bought at Gettysburg. Downloaded app. Tried to download content (that we paid $25). Just sits at initializing. Called the support number and it’s some guys voicemail. Total garbage.
Too many steps that produce nothing to use
This app was recommended by the Vicksburg Expedition guide I purchased. Step 1 was to download the app, but still nothing useable. Step 2, download the tour using a passcode from the purchased book. This appears to have worked, but only because a Vicksburg placeholder appeared on the app. Another step (why this isn’t done all at once in Step 2 is known only to the developer). This is where the app fails. Nothing happens on this additional download step. While I haven’t lost any money - I still have the book and CDs/DVDs, the functionality advertised is misleading. The app does not work when at a tour site.

Gettysburg 5 star, Boston 1 star
We got this when we went to Gettysburg and it was fantastic and worth the cost. I saw they had a tour for Boston and paid 5$ for it. It wasn’t worth it. It doesn’t cover all the stops on the Freedom Trail, barely covers any historical information and is heavily focused on Social issues. Nothing wrong with discussing social issues but that’s mostly what it focuses on.

But when stopped and restarted no yellowstone info app is blank.

Nice Idea. Works poorly. Buy a book instead
I like technology. This app came with an Expedition guide. Does not work well at all in yellowstone. It requires internet access even after downloading. There is NO internet access in most of the Park which renders the app useless. This was part of a Yellowstone Expedition guide that I purchased. The CD that came with the book matches the map. The CD works well even though the numbers in the map and CD are completely out of order which is a distraction when driving. The map numbers on the App are not in sync with the book at all. This app is a great idea, but it is not planned out well. Lastly there is a photo augmenting portion of the app. I can not find out how to access it. The kids were looking forward yo this feature.

Perfect for us
We wanted to do a guided bicycle tour of Gettysburg, but they did not have the one we wanted available on the day and time we needed. Instead, we rented bikes, bought the guidebook, with CD and this app. It was easy to install and simple to use. Every stop on the park service map had an interesting and informative audio clip. It was exactly what we needed and saved the three of us $100, to boot.

Great idea minor flaw
I got this along with a key code for Vicksburg Battlefield. It loaded to my pod great. It has all the audio for the various tour stops which is wonderful. Tested it in the motel and it worked delightfully. Went on the battlefield the next day. SIGH. No internet connection and therefore the app refuses to work. If I was using a phone it would have been fine but I don't have that technology.

Poor content. I've travelled to Amsterdam, Baja California and Maui in the last 6 months and got no info on any of them here.
