Face ID still not working
I was told a few months ago from your support team that this will be fixed soon. However, I’m still have to manually enter my username and password every time I launch the app. This is a painful user experience ☹️. Please fix Face ID login.
Useful but could be better
Recent update improved the UI but now the trips section doesn’t show the MPG at a glance - need to go into each trip. A step back in UX.

Intrusive
The app is ok, but it doesn’t turn off location tracking when you quit, as it should do in ‘location only when using’ setting. So it has to be location ‘never’ until it’s needed. Why not make it work? Every other app does, and this one used to…reported to Toyota twice, but no change.
Continues to use location even when app is closed.
Have logged, need to swipe up to stop the issue.
Planned obsolescence
My 2020 corolla touring sport has no information displayed in the app. A pretty picture of my vehicle is there but nothing else.
When I select "MyGarage", it tells me I need to download another Toyota app, "MyT", but the link in the iOS app goes too... Google play!
If I search manually in the apple store for MyT, it says the app is not available in the UK. Weird
Shame as the website version was promising, except it does not tell me about the status of my Toyota Relax Warranty.
Why is this not easier to access
When I select "MyGarage", it tells me I need to download another Toyota app, "MyT", but the link in the iOS app goes too... Google play!

App Gets Worse Day in Day out
The recent app update has introduced several usability issues.
Data synchronization between the vehicle and the application continues to be problematic.
Furthermore, the removal of the 'Navigate and route to car' feature is a major concern, as it was a highly effective tool. The current reliance solely on third-party mapping services is less convenient than the previous integrated functionality. I hope the team will review this decision and consider reinstating this capability."

Great app while charging
A great app especially when changing or for checking how much charge you have on your car. My only issue is that I have to log in every few times because the Face ID appears to have stopped working.
App update
Didn’t have any complaints about the previous app but you’ve now updated it and it now feels like there’s additional steps so I can check my fuel economy on the trips section. I really don’t care about my average speed, fuel consumption on the first trips page would be much more helpful.
Changed to a 1 star now, app has been updated a couple of times I believe since I wrote the above but still looks the same, thing is, it now misses journeys and when it doesn’t miss them it takes hours and hours to upload them. It used to be instant.
It also failed to remotely turn my hazard lights on the other day despite reporting it had which would have made the car so much easier to find.
Very poor.

Rubbish
Can’t remote start, all I get is there’s been an error message over and over. It’s worked about 3 times in total.
Great When It Works!
The features in the app are great, close a window left open by mistake. Check fuel level, turn on from app in winter to heat or cool in summer best feature ever! The problem is it is temperamental. Won’t connect to car, constantly signs you out. You chose facial recognition and that never works. Fix the bugs and it would be 5 stars. Been this way bit for two years. Still the same a further 6 months later.

Unusable
The app says I’m in a location that can’t use the app then it takes me to the App Store where the App Store says I can’t download the app they want me to download from my location. Waste of time

Mpg
It use to be so easy to see the mpg on the trip page, now you have to open up several sub pages to get the information that’s most important. Shame because it’s a very stable and informative app.

I agree with Heini and so does my Dad (who has an Android phone).
Also the advise given to Heini is useless from what I can see. The ‘App Support’ button just takes you to the Toyota site and not App Support or feedback.
In the app itself the ‘App Support’ doesn’t have an option for the relevant topic of giving feedback for this issue or App suggestions.
