Point your phone at the barcode on a medicine pack and MyTurn Verify reads it and tells you whether the product is authentic: • GREEN — Verified authentic. • BLUE — A recognised medicine, not supplied through the MyTurn network. • RED — Suspected falsified — do not use; ask your pharmacist and report it. • AMBER — Could not confirm right now — this does NOT mean it is genuine; ask your pharmacist before you use it. Why it matters: falsified and substandard medicines are a serious risk. MyTurn Verify uses NAFDAC traceability data and GS1 barcodes to help you make a safer choice at the point of purchase. How it works: 1. Tap Scan and point at the barcode (GS1 Data Matrix, QR, or standard barcode). 2. Get an instant authenticity result. 3. If something looks wrong, ask your pharmacist and report it to NAFDAC.
