Too slow
This app not very user friendly and is too slow. I am deleting it from my phone and use the website instead. Why have an app, when the website works better?
Website disguised as an application
They must have hired the laziest developers in the whole planet. It is a lot easier to just use the website. Don’t create an app and just connect it to the website.
Not impressed
Not impressed. I click a link that will bring me to a new page for additional info but if I click on any link on that new page to find further info it freezes. Again, not impressed.
Unitil’s effort and work is appreciated!
I know this is just the beginning. But the team has done a very good job in creating a simple Apple that covers the basics that most customers will need. I look forward to seeing updates and the evolution of this app and applaud EVERYONE who worked on this and delivered a working, helpful, convenient, and simple application for us the average customer.

Not functional
Half the buttons on the app do not work and freeze. I don’t know how this passed any quality review.
Takes Forever to Load Data
I was using the app on WiFi and it would still take forever to pull up the info. If this was 2014, this would have been acceptable…but it's Not! Fail for Unitil 👎
Really?
This app just links you to the website which is dumb. You would think a corporation their size could afford to develop an app with a better interface, especially with the 3x rate increases since last year.
Useless
The app will not allow me to login, it continuously says my user ID and password are incorrect and locks me out. I have no difficulty logging into the website on my laptop so I won’t even bother trying to use the app again. It’s a shame, I’ve been a customer with Unitil for almost 15 years and found their antiquated payment options annoying at best. I was happy to hear they were finally going to try jumping into modern technology, but this app has done nothing for me.

Mediocre first try
The app gives slightly easier access to a few things versus the web site. Responsiveness and page loading are below average.
A major problem I have is that quick pay (ie via credit/debit card) is only accessible at the log in screen, separate from the “post my bill” functionality after you log in and is not integrated into your account at all. You need your account number to use the service, but you need to log in to get it, or have a paper bill handy, or copy it from the website. All of which seem make the app less relevant.
