Not fit for purpose.
Vauxhall have hidden in a dark room 15/10/2023 and thrown in a couple of 3 year olds to do an update. Absolutely now not fit for purpose. My car now is sat in a car park according to the app 50 mile away. Update to this. 30/08/2026 I got a reply saying we can’t push updates through for one specific thing. 4 days ago an update was done and guess what. Cars still sat 50 miles away as it still isn’t logging where you are after the journey and you have to update your location manually. (still) time to delete this app as it’s becoming less and less relevant.
Why do you not sit in the office, think, let’s make the CarPlay compatible so when it is connected to car play, you can use it in the car play screen also. Unbelievable you don’t even think of things like that. Who’s designing this? 90 year olds.
Update to this. The generic replies from the developer on here is contact us. So we can ignore that too. The app is rubbish. If you ever get it to connect, you’re doing well.

Always full of issues
Won’t login in to the app as it requires safari to login in which keeps losing the network connection then gets stuck when you refresh and if you manage to login then it just goes nowhere and won’t actually log you into the app.
Cheap company
Don’t buy Vauxhall,very cheap company, you need to pay to see the battery and charging status.
Update Issue
Since the last update my maintenance schedule keeps disappearing and I can’t access any information
Useless
Absolutely useless app. I have a Mokka-E and the only thing the app does is randomly stop it from charging within 3 minutes of it being plugged in. It’s also got a rubbish UI, and zero helpful features. My experience with the car is actively much better having uninstalled this turd of an app.

Trouble starting in morning 12v completely dead car shut down called AA said 12v not getting any charge second fault different day press start screens light up foot on break press start cat just turned off no start after a few attempts I disconnected 12v car then started contacted local dealer told I have to pay for curiosity car and maybe diagnostics car has only done 400 miles not happy with that

Let me give an honest review.
Papua New Guinea will be a nuclear powerhouse before this app works correctly. Non stop connectivity issues and getting logged out of the app and having to log back in on a weekly basis. Had Vauxhall since 2021 and this app worked great for like the first year then all other updates made it worse.
Very poor
Dreadful. The climate feature suddenly disappeared recently. Fails to connect, constantly asking for password info or directing you to website to log in again.

My app has stopped updating my journeys I was advised to delete and reinstall but all that happened was I lost all past information. Not happy
Never works absolutely rubbish
When I first got my vivaro back in 2025 this app worked great all the time now it does nothing constantly says can’t connect or error has occurred such a shame because as I said it worked last year and when it did I couldn’t fault it whatever updates u have done are rubbish and the worse part we have to pay monthly to get the full usage so ur taking our money for something that does not ever work anymore sort it out

Totally useless app
Tried to use this app as I thought it was helpful and straightforward. I have contacted customer care and they have told me the problem might be with the telematic board and advised me to booked in my car to my local dealership but it was very frustrating they have tried to sort out the issue and problem the whole day and nothing has been done and the issue still remain the same which is of a lot of inconvenience and quite disappointing. I am hoping that you would able to resolve the issues with the app or with the telematic board as you have said on your response. Sorry I have to give you 1 star for this app for very poorly developed Vauxhall app which totally worthless and futile.

No Maintenance Update
Another update that hasn’t resolved the missing maintenance info.

Had my 21 plate corsa a few months now and pay £9 a month for the privilege of Vauxhall Connect and I wrote to them last week asking for a reduction as the ‘Connect’ is the worst ever. For ever having trouble connecting so end up doing journeys with out and data. Still waiting for a fix to the map update as my local dealer has had it in twice and still not been able to complete. The Corsa may be uk best selling small car but Vauxhall you do need to sort things out

Slow and buggy
Painfully slow often I have to close it down and restart it to get it to connect to the car. Can take me up to 10 minutes to get the Climate activated and with the latest release the climate function has completely disappeared. Most unreliable app I’ve had on my phone.
Still Terrible
App doesn’t update properly with journeys or mileage, climate control can’t be activated unless I stand next to the car! Car doesn’t lock or unlock from the App either. Pretty useless really.
UPDATE I contacted Vauxhall following their response to this review and we have been back-and-forth now for a month they keep asking the same questions, having me provide photos, logs and still no resolution! In fact, I’m even struggling to get CarPlay to connect now.

Not happy
Keeps saying my car is unlocked when it isn’t! So keep going out to check! This has only been since the new update
Worst app I use
Clunky, slow, constantly logs me out. Can’t do anything quickly and I’ve just noticed the climate function has been removed which is one of the useful parts of the app
App won’t connect
Had my electric frontera for a few weeks now and the app still will not connect, such a waste of time and poor from a big car manufacturer
July update waste of time
5 Star rubbish, got to be the worst car app I’ve ever used, had the Vauxhall car 2 months, had updates, been to garage for check up because they blame the telematics box. Garage say car’s ok wait for airwaves update! The latest update has sent my car speed sign crazy, 30mph roads show up has 80mph maximum speed. Just search MyVauxhall app problems 1st.

Awful app
Honestly, I’ve read many reviews about how poor the My Vauxhall app is. It’s worse than I thought!! Almost pointless even having it, you can’t do much at all and what little you can do, never seems to work or constantly kicks you out and makes you sign in, again…. Either bring a solid update or scrap this app and rebuild something that actually works and has usable functions! For the modern EV world where all other manufacturers seem to have intuitive, solid apps….. Vauxhall fail on a mega level!
