Update 3/16/22: I love this app but I’m using it and when I hit the speak button it is glitching and either won’t speak or stop somewhere in the middle of saying what I typed. Also when I hit the preset buttons it does the same thing. I’ve tried to report an issue but it goes to a credit site for disable people. Please fix this and I’ll adjust my start rating. I use it to communicate with my family!

I am in love with this app! The price is reasonable and it does everything I could like. I have seizures and as a result I tend to lose the ability to talk for a little bit. This gives me my voice back so I don’t have to rely on hand signals or writing everything. The only thing I would like to see added to it is on the ‘Type to Talk’ part an option to clear all the text from the box so you don’t have to hold the delete button or highlight everything then hit the delete button.

Love app, voice options could be improved
Love this app, the only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the limited voice options. If possible to record tone of own voice or have additional voices for download it would be great (even if additional voices were on a paid basis). Testing this app for my uncle that has asphasia and I like the voice speed control, but for someone already coping with the awkwardness of perfect understanding but inability to speak, the robot voice just seems to add another level of awkwardness.

Fantastic for those who need a voice
I am about to undergo vocal cord surgery, and bought this app to communicate with my younger children who cannot yet read. It's fantastic, easy to use, and the voice is very understandable. There are many preprogrammed phrases to choose from, or you can type in anything you want it to say for you. The only thing this app is lacking is the ability to store personal phrases that you use frequently. I would pay extra for the ability to store phrases like "stop bothering your sister" and "go to your room". ; ) Thank you for developing this app for those of us who really need it!!

This app is wonderful for communicating when traditional methods fail. Worked like a charm for me and my six children during my first vocal cord surgery. I just found out I will need another surgery, so I am extremely grateful for this update. Thank you for making life a little easier for those who have trouble communicating! Bless you!
