Useful & quick
This app isn't meant to read all 1500+ pages of a comic strip, it is there to be able to read the newest strip in the morning with a quick coffee before work if you don't have time to have a look on the computer before you leave - and for that it works brilliantly.
Dust covered basement of the app store library
Disappointed with the neglect of the app, it's a great idea and I enjoy it, but it's buggy and slow, and there is a lot of wasted opportunity for added features. I will probably continue using it, but only for comics I am all the way up to date on, so I don't have to sift through them or deal with the hassle. Features like displaying alt text, jumping to a specific page of a comic, and saving your place, along with debug and update would definitely make this at least a 4 star, more comics or the ability to add your own easily would bump that to a 5.

yeah it is a free app, but you know what? it's been neglected. for over a year and a half. the dev's have completely abandoned this web comic app, and it was so promising too. their are adds, bugs, glitches, and not to mention slow. if you scroll down on the last release, it was in 2009
2009!!!!! it's two years later. just ignore this app. the developers don't care if you get it or not. there hasn't been a single update since BEFORE the iPhone 3GS even came out!
I hope one day this app will get an entire redo, but I'm not going to waste my time.

Rather crappy.
Doesn't save your spot, and crashes pretty often.
This bites
This app stinks on toast it takes forever to load has adds even though that's what it's supposed to be. Penny arcade doesn't even work. Whoever writes this needs to either upgrade the app or start interviewing for a job. Prefferably not in computer design. Don't even waste the drive space.

Doesnt like penny arcade
Downloaded this to read penny arcade and it doesn't seem to want to. Also wouldn't let me use landscape mode (not sure if that's even supported). Overall a good idea but needs way more work.

Crashed 3 times before I read three comics, and Penny Arcade doesn't appear. To the maker of this app: don't quit your day job.

Don't remove these ads. It's the artists' lifeblood, and the only way they pay their bills.

Great app
Dont waste your time
Frequent crashes, Penny Arcade does not work, and Ads. Just visit the your favorite web comics site and give them the page views and ad revenue. Not the makers of this broken app.

The lack of landscape viewing, the frequent crashes and Penny Arcade not working were enough to get this deleted immediately.

Great Idea
It could be made a lot better by a few simple improvements such as saving your place when reading comics and you switch to a different one, a random button, and a list of all the comics so you could skip to a certain number.
Pretty good
It's the best webcomic viewer I've found, and it introduced me to DogHouse and Amazing Super Powers, which are now two of my favorite webcomics. Improvements could be made, as others have suggested, but for a free app, this is quite good.

App should really remember which strip was last viewed so that you can read back through a series without losing your place.

Good idea, poorly executed
It's a good idea, but it has many flaws. xkcd doesn't display mouseover text. It constantly crashes, and it would be neat if it could add the RSS feed of an unsupported comic.
As for the crashes, I'm running iOS 4.0.1 on an iPhone 4, and whenever I go from the comic page to the list of comics, it crashes.
