Do not go to WWP if you’re a woman

WWP is only interested in “warriors” that fit their model. Meaning, white males with “the right” injuries.

All of their events are geared around this. There is no support for BIPOC or women, no specific programming (well they have things online! Never in person). If you do go to events, it’s a sausage fest. You get the whole gamut, from “as a chick you don’t deserve this as much as me” (I’m a combat vet) to “who’s your spouse/the REAL vet”, to hitting on me enough I’m not going back.

I’ve been to WWP events in three states!!!!! Over ten years I’ve tried!!!!! This is UNIVERSALLY TRUE, and the organization does not care to change.

Do not go, do not give them your money, unless you’re a white dude. 🤷‍♀️🤢

Love it !!! Game changer.

Most meaningful app in my phone! Helps me connect to other Veterans in my area, including attending events that get me out of my house, and my head. Thank you so much WWP !!! Ret. Sgt Besse Kyle .R
