Basic app and it barely functions. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!
FRAUD
This app connects to a video service that intends to charge you approximately $34.90 per month after two days. Totally a SCAM, because I bought a Smart Earpick otoscope from Amazon to connect an optical device to my phone for viewing the inside of my ear. This is not what was promised. Now I have to call my bank as well as Amazon to remove this illegal developer from my account.

Try this if the scope won’t connect to your phone
If you are having trouble connecting to the “MZ” local network. Check the settings on your phone. Open the MZ Scope app setting and make sure the option for “access to Local Network” has been enabled.
My wife was complaining the scope has broken and wasn’t working. She was about to throw it out and I fiddled with it and found out this was the problem. Somehow that option got disabled on her phone and the scope would not connect properly.
SUGGESTION TO THE MAKER: maybe you can add this to the “instructions page”.

Really helps clean my ears

Cap is off and tried connecting it to the wifi with the privacy wifi setting as OFF. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it multiple times. Even tried it on a different phone. And no matter what it says “no internet connection” on the wifi

I loved my scope. I’ve had it about a year but now it is so blurry I can’t see anything. Does it give out after awhile? I need this to work.

App malfunction
I bought this device about an year ago and I only used it one time. It has been in the box practically brand new and I got it out last night to use it and there is no light coming on the device only the red light when I charge it. It is not showing up on wifi and I tried everything. The cap is off. I also deleted app off my iPhone and put back on and still nothing showing up on wifi. Because of this issue I can’t even use the device.

App no longer connects to device. Huge scam
Wifi Connectivity
Wifi keeps disconnecting. Says unsecured network and it disconnects. It used to connect flawlessly and worked perfectly. Even after deleting and then reinstalling the app, I continue having the same issue with wifi connectivity
MZ Scope
Make sure to disable VPN before use.
Then connect to Wi-Fi.

Connect to the camera first then start second
Camera works fine with me. Just make sure first to connect the app/camera manually via the wifi settings. Then switch to the camera app and hit start.

This is the coolest thing ever. The camera connects to the app effortlessly if you follow the instructions. I would first charge the device fully before use. Then open the wifi settings on your phone and connect to the device name MZscope, then turn off privacy for the MZscope wifi connection and lastly open the app. Waiting to open the app after connecting to wifi seems to be an important step. Once the app was open I pressed the big start button in the app and it worked instantly. Great product. Not sure what the bad reviews are about because it was so easy🤷🏽♀️
