Outstanding Value & Great Sound

This is such good value, and it rewards time, patience and trial and error. It’s not the most polished app but it’s not asking 10 or 20 the purchase cost. It’s a very intriguing proof of concept, and I look forward to seeing it develop.

Super Sound…but the latency

Such a great app. May be a little to much functions for my needs….I just want to plug my guitar to an interface an play NAM A2 captures. And man…that little app does that so great. No difference to a MacBook. They even have integrated the UI of the NAM-Player from the Mac. Supercool….But…..there is audible latency. Even when set to the minimum value of 32 mSecs. Not brutal..but audible….If this could be fixed…..Six stars ;-) For the features I would give five stars. For the sound anyway…but as mentioned…the latency…kills me… By the way….other software like TONEX does not have any audible latency on my iPad in the same setup….so I think it should be able to fix that….
Update: the developer fixed the latency issues! Now this App is just perfect. In the iPad version it even has the interface of the NAM player of the Mac. Great!

Thank you so much for the kind words and detailed feedback! I'm really happy to hear you're enjoying the app and that the sound quality is meeting your expectations. Regarding the latency, I recently made some changes to the audio engine and tested the latest version using the RTL Utility with a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (4th Gen). I measured a round-trip latency of 24.2 ms. To my ears it sounded pretty instant. Would you mind trying the latest version? If you're still experiencing audible latency, please send me an email with your iPad model, audio interface, and iPadOS version. That will help me investigate whether there's something specific to your setup that I can optimize. Thanks again for taking the time to leave your feedback—it really helps improve the app!

Really Loving This

Loving this so much it’s so easy to get nice tones quick. And the mixer part is awesome. You can add third party apps say like reverb overdrive. Etc but you can change the order. Which is fantastic.
If you check out Nembrini Audio out they have loads of free apps. That work great with this nam pedal. Overdrive delays compressor reverbs and the noise Gate also comes in very handy

Thanks a lot! I'm really happy you're enjoying it. One of my main goals was to make it quick and easy to get great tones while still giving you the flexibility to build your own signal chain. Being able to reorder AUv3 effects and mix in your favorite third-party plugins opens up a lot of creative possibilities. I also appreciate the shout-out to the Nembrini plugins. It's great to hear they're working well in your setup. Thanks again for sharing your experience!

Not bad, needs a bit of work to be great

I’ve only briefly used it to reamp my guitar parts in a logic track with some models from tone3000 but it’s worked flawlessly. If I notice any issues I’ll update this review but it seems to me that this is phenomenal. My thanks to the dev!

Edit: I can’t speak for other DAWs, but in logic, it works perfectly apart from the UI. It’ll say “loading” until you turn on monitoring for the track and upon reloading a project, the interface will be blank but the nam file and IR you’d previously loaded remain present. Can be confusing at first but functionally, it’s pretty much spot on.

Thank you so much for the review and for taking the time to update it! I'm really glad to hear it's working well for your reamping workflow in Logic and that you've had a smooth experience with Tone3000 models. Regarding the UI issue, that was a bug in an earlier version. The latest update includes much better AUv3 UI handling, so the "Loading" state and blank interface after reopening projects should now be resolved. I really appreciate your feedback and support. Enjoy making music!
