Great app!
Love this! I wanted to improve my ability to remember names and came across this app. It has successful improved my name recollection in my short 30 days of using it. I do wish they'd update it though. I wish I was able to create new flash cards with the names that aren't preloaded into the app and it crashes sometimes. There is a lot more they could do with this so I hope they continue improving it!

It really works!
Im horrible with names. If I see them written down I’m alright. But not with just the shake of a hand. I didn’t know it was a possibility to improve my memory for remembering names. I found out about this name memory technique from Jim Kwik, and I was happy to find this app that made it easy to practice. And I’m getting better!

For clarity
This app is ONLY meant to teach you how to memorize people’s names in everyday life. It is NOT an app that helps you memorize new contacts you meet. So for people with memory disabilities, this app is not for you. In fact I would pay for this feature as it could be seen as a premium option. The current premium features are not enough for me to spend money on this app.

I have a networking conference coming up and I can already see how this app will help. The app teaches you the concept and then gives you practice lessons you can use daily to master it. Highly recommended!

Actually works
I looked at about 10 apps for remembering names and this concept was the most effective for me. Simple yet effective.
Had potential
It was a practical app that filled a niche. The problem here is the lack of customization, lack of community with gamification, and possibly stats to view progress?
Less so the last statement but customization takes way too much time to find an image you like to use the image that you want in associated with a name.
There was potential here but it’s lost considering that the last update was three years ago.

Thanks for the feedback. The community idea is great. Don't sweat finding an image as your brain is powerful in doing that by just training on the word. Sketching an image and taking a photo can be helpful too. The progress stats are in the profile icon and it's a way to learn with a friend and keep each other accountable by competing for the most awards. Sorry for the late reply but I hope your name remembering skills improved some!

Great app - names need to be updated!
Pleasantly surprised with how easy to use and effective this app is. It lets you add your own name associations and photos which is helpful. My main gripe is the name choices they have you memorize - Mary, Margaret, Charles etc… these may have been common names back in 1920 but it’s now 2021, can we update the list please? I only have so much room in my head

Hi. Thanks for the suggestion. I am totally with you on that. I used census data and I think the old fashioned names still rise to the top. Maybe I could have done a little more hand picking and weighting to the last 20 years. Sorry for the late reply but I appreciate the kind words about the app.
Great Quality App, But an Issue of Randomization
When practicing in people mode, I find I often get the same faces with the same names and am seeing a lack of true randomization. I’m also not seeing the full array of names I’ve learned from the review deck. A good app, but slightly flawed

Hugely helpful!
This app totally changed my thought process for meeting people! I have always struggled with remembering names, but now I have a simple and solid little trick to use when someone introduces themselves.
Really works
I actually tried the tips from this app because I was going on a church retreat and wanted to be super sociable and remember everyone’s names. Using the method they teach for remembering names is a bit trickier to do without the app. Some of the name associations they used were ones I didn’t care for, like janitor-Jennifer, but it would take a lot of effort to come up with each association from scratch. If there are ones you like better, you can change the associated word and even the picture too. However, you can’t create your own custom name flash card set of less common names or names of people you are trying to remember in real life. That’s the only extra feature I wish they had. Otherwise I think the app is pretty good.

Works well!
I use this app usually when I wake up to get my brain moving and met someone this week whose name has still stuck with me. Love that you can add your own associations to the name and the illustrations. The trophies also make a nice goal-oriented person like myself feel like I’ve accomplished something 🙌🏼 Would definitely recommend this app for those looking to memorize names or even improve memory.

Works Wonders!
I have a tough time remembering the names of people I meet the first time around, but even after a few days of using the app I have found myself more attentive and able to remember names the first time. Glad I have this app!!

This app really works, and - bonus - it’s really easy to use too! The training at the beginning is short and was easy to understand, and the app itself is well designed, visually appealing and effective. Remembering names is a skill that can be helpful to anyone in your personal or work life, and I would recommend this app to anyone who wants to get better at it!

It really works!
I am always the first to let people know I will be asking for their name again and again until I can somehow remember it. But this app is really going to help me NOT do that! It provides ways to remember names, practice with flash cards, and then even get to practice with actual faces. I have already learned how to remember over 70 different common names. It’s a must try for everyone.

You can indeed create your own associations. Just click on the edit pencil in the upper right corner of the card. There will be suggestions or type your own.
