The app is great — the service behind it is even better.
The new app makes everything better. No more texting photos, uploading is simple, the images come out crisper, and sorting and managing pictures is easy.
An unexpected benefit: as an older parent I wasn’t in the habit of photographing my kids. NanaGram forced me to capture shareable moments every month, and I’m so grateful for that now.
Here’s what really earns the fifth star. My wife lost her phone a few years ago, and with it all of our digital baby photos. Our family still had their printed copies, but ours were gone. As a Hail Mary I reached out to Alex, the owner. He went back through roughly six years of photos, printed every single one, and sent us three full albums of the baby pictures we thought we’d lost. That’s the kind of company this is. Real people, great support, great communication.
Five stars for the app. Ten for the service and the people behind it. Highly recommend to any parent.

Wow, Garrett, thanks for the amazing review! It's so cool to hear you're coming up on 10 years of using NanaGram to send photos to your grandparents, great grandma and your aunt. I'm so glad we were able to save all your baby pictures! As a new dad with two kids under 3, I can't imagine losing all of our photos. Now that the app supports uploading the full, original resolution originals I'm thinking about building a way to order year-end photo books to order for yourself, with the added plus of being something fun for the kids to flip through that isn't a glowing screen. -Alex, Chief Oldest Grandson

Thank you for your review! The other nice thing about the app is all of your photos are uploaded at original resolution and because of that, I plan to support ordering year-end photo books in the future. -Alex, Chief Oldest Grandson
Great option
The app is a nice addition to the service. It works well and is easy to add photos to from your phone. If you are familiar with a shared album on IPhone or Google, or bow a digital frame like Aura or Frameo work, it’s like those. Except at the end of the process, someone gets actual printed photos instead of a chime on their digital device. If you like the concept of a shared frame, but want print photos, this is the service you are looking for.

Thank you so much for your review! It always warms my heart to hear from people using NanaGram for many years. This fall, it will be 10 years since I launched the service with my brother. I'm so glad to hear your Grandmom loves the photos you've been sending and she's building out a photo album. I really appreciate your comments about how the app compares to the experience of shared photo albums and digital photo frames. I'm excited to continue improving the service and the app this summer and beyond. Don't hesitate to reach out anytime with your ideas! -Alex, Chief Oldest Grandson
Easy, Fun, Top-Quality & So Rewarding

Wow, it's so great to hear from a real-life Nana reviewing NanaGram herself! :) It's very cool to hear your feedback about how our print quality compares to Shutterfly. I'm so glad to hear you like them. Quick tip, in case you don't know already — if you go into the shipping settings, you can convert your photos into photo postcards. The print quality is the same as our standard photos (with a blank back) except we print a blank postcard template on the back. This allows you to send photo postcards... all you have to do is add a stamp and optionally write a message — it's so fun! Thanks again and don't hesitate to reach out anytime. -Alex, Chief Oldest Grandson
Love it

Thank you for making the time to leave a review of our new app. It's so cool to hear you've been using NanaGram all these years to stay in touch with your mother in law. It's also hard to believe that this year, it will be 10 years since I launched the service. I'm very excited about the new app and I'm planning on many further improvements this summer and beyond. Don't hesitate to reach out anytime with your ideas. Thanks again! -Alex, Chief Oldest Grandson
