Needs improvements
My son loves the light colors and to sleep with the Nanit sound machine, but I would love it if it could also be controlled in the Nanit Home Screen. That way whoever is at home with my son can easily control both the Nanit monitor and sound machine with one device. Also, for future generations of the light and sound machine it would be great to have the ability to toggle through all the light colors and sounds with the buttons in the back of the machine. Again, so whoever watches my son can turn it on easily. I like the programming function too, but some people are not that tech savvy. For those who are, I did enjoy the pre-programmed option, but we had it for 19 months before we figured out that was a function.

Doesn’t work
Complete waste of money. Won’t stay connected. Clock is dependent on internet connection and when it disconnects it freezes at the current time. So the clock ends up being completely useless since you never know if it’s actually the time it displays or if it has disconnected and frozen at a part time. If I could return it I would.

Ok substitute for the Hatch
Glitches all the time and does sync well with your phone. More often than not it’s easier to turn it on and off manually also super annoying that you don’t have the option to turn off the light for the time.
Good but….
I like how you can create settings and change the volume with ease but the preferred settings don’t account for time change so I had to delete them and redo every time I travelled. The app is hard to connect to sometimes when you are setting up in a new place. A bit unnecessarily complicated for a sound machine but nice features

Better than Hatch
Hatch had too many glitchy issues where the sound would cut in and out and wake my baby!! No issues with Nanit, I love it.

This Machine Glitches Daily
I would not reccomend this. The hatch works better. I got this thinking it would be nice to pair with my Nanit pro monitors but it’s been nothing but a hassle. It turns off randomly, has trouble connecting and staying connected, messes up other apps from working properly (it links through Nanit wifi) and constantly tells me there is an update but when I click to install it, tells me it’s unavailable.

I don’t like that you have to slide the volume control to change it. Id rather have + and - buttons.
New minimalistic icons are super ugly
So ugly I deleted them from my Home Screen
No custom sounds
It’s ridiculous that you can’t play custom sounds or music on this speaker.
Disappointed
The battery does not stay charged for very long without needed to be plugged back in. The connection always takes so long to find when I try to turn it on via the app, so the convenience of that is very frustrating, I am having to restart it and retry to connect to a network almost everytime and always at the worst times.

A must have!
Nanit Sound and Light works perfect. No lag and very accurate. Only downfall is it works off WiFi so the distance varies but it’s still an awesome must have product.
