I wasn’t too sure about all these that claim to do this. But makers seem to have some solid research/science backing the app. Really useful as I am a new parent. I got the most value with the paid version though

Buggy
This app has potential to be what I’m looking for but there seem to be a few annoying bugs that put me off. For example, sleep tracker is showing 12:00AM for all entries in details page. I’ve also noticed some instances where sleep entries are lost for whatever reason.
Random guessing AI
Every time I use it, the AI cry translator is calculating a 30% chance its hunger, 30% its discomfort, and another 30% its diaper. I can guess those same odds without a paid subscription.

Bogus..
I got the paid version and I’m extremely unimpressed and wish I could cancel to get refunded. Everything is always 25% so all causes equal. Its barely right. The suggestions don’t work and are often not age-appropriate. The only reason I gave a 2-star is because they have nice milestone and tracking sections but these are no use to me since I already have other FREE apps for these things.

Not really useful
Tried this with my baby’s cry, it keeps saying 30% hunger, 30% pain, or something like this. I don’t want a “this or that” answer, I know it could be hunger or pain. If you are not able to give me a more accurate answer, why do I need this app?
Great app!
I really like using this app and would love to keep using it. One improvement I’d suggest is with the feeding timer. Right now, it seems like if my phone locks while the timer is running, the timer pauses.
It would be great if either:
1. The app could prevent the phone from locking while the timer is active (like when you're watching a video), or
2. The timer could keep running in the background, even if I lock my phone or switch to another app, until I’m ready to save the routine.

Its helpful especially when you feel helpless. Sometimes its wrong but you know what posibilities are
Same results for cries - avoid
The translator ends up giving 20-30% chances of being each of the four possible responses which is the same as guessing yourself. What’s the point of paying for that?
Cry Translation does not work
It’s not true that the free version provides 2 translations daily. Since I downloaded the app, I translated couple times and afterwards it stopped working. The translation button doesn’t work anymore. Still, kudos in the App, the rest of functionalities work great.

Sometimes a higher quality analysis can lead to a slightly longer processing time, but we're working every day to find the right balance. We put out multiple updates per week and recently made a big improvement to the translation experience, so we'd love if you could give us another try some time!
Calling all first time & experienced parents!!!
As a first-time parent the early days with a newborn were overwhelming! This app helped manage the sleep deprivation, my babies needs, and assisted me in best helping my baby. The standout feature and the reason I downloaded the app was for its ability to analyze and categorize different types of cries. Understanding why my baby was crying was very challenging and took forever to go down the list to determine why he was crying. Nanni AI cut down my guessing time and allowed for me to act with suggestions to support how to best help my baby. Another wonderful feature of the app is the tracking feature. It has helped me quickly enter data about my baby’s feeds, diapers, and sleep and the gives a wonderful visual view and calculates averages to assist me in my parenting. This comprehensive tracking is invaluable for identifying patterns and ensuring your baby’s needs are being met consistently. The AI-powered question-and-answer feature is also another feature to highlight. Instead of sifting through a sea of contradictory information online, you can ask Nanni AI specific questions and receive clear, tailored responses. This function can be a lifeline for parents seeking reliable guidance amidst the overwhelming amount of conflicting advice available on the internet that is backed by research. Overall, Nanni AI is an indispensable tool for both new and seasoned parents and is extremely user-friendly! ALSO-when I experienced an issue with the app, the creator was the person who reached out to me and he scheduled a video call to discuss the issue I was having and to get my customer feedback to improve the app-10/10 customer service and drive to continuously improve their product for all parents!

Just amazing!
I was looking for a tracker app for my newborn. Was going to use huckleberry, then my brother in law told me about Nanni AI which has the cry translator in addition to the tracker. Really love how the app is no frills. So simple to use and an interface that doesn’t overwhelm me.
Then…I discovered that I can make custom avatars of my baby and now I can’t stop! Haha

Can’t do 0. App always says tired.
Really good app
While there is always room for improvement. This app has impressed me at times on how accurate it is on why my baby I crying and reminding me of tips and tricks I may not think of in the heat of the moment with a wailing baby by myself. Really grateful this app exists has definitely helped me out!
