About
Read the complete poems of Heo Nanseolheon in the original, set vertically as they were first printed.
Heo Nanseolheon (1563-1589) wrote in Classical Chinese in a Joseon Korea that gave women almost no room to write at all. She died at twenty-seven. Her poems were printed in China before they were read at home, and they have been admired ever since.
This app holds her collected works entire: all 212 poems in translation, three prose works, and the two Korean-language gasa long attributed to her. The great sequences are kept whole and unbroken, including all 87 of the Roaming Among the Immortals poems.
