Disappointed.
I fell in love with these emoji’s soon as I seen them. You don’t really find one that depict African people well. I had full access to all the emojis until I took the app off my phone because I had to use a loner phone from apple while mine was being repaired. The other phone didn’t have enough space for all the apps. When I redownloaded it I lost full access & am getting issues getting it back. I’m very disappointed.

Love it but….
When I first started using your emojis on Facebook they showed up nice and clear. Now when I try to use them they show up blurry.

Good Start!
Of course there is always room for improvements, fine tuning and upgrades. I like this app! Hey It’s much better than some other apps attempts at ethnic/cultural apps. The graphics are very good... just too small. And users should be able to customize their Moji; more details.
Great Concept but...
I get it... this is definitely a good looking app on the outside but when it comes to using it, it’s just horrible... I just downloaded it today and paid the $1.99 for the upgrade.. this still was a waste of money because... it crashes each and every time I tried to use it EXCEPT once, and when I was able to send the emoji, it was grainy and not a sharp photo AT ALL.. come on developers, represent like a professional....please.

Best Emoji for Black Women
I hear a lot of black women making negative comments about this app. First of all, this is the best app ever, because there has never been an app that describe us as intelligent, classy, black, beautiful women in various shades of our skin tone in 3D, like Pixar!!! Come on ladies!!! There’s no Disney movie that represents us as like this app! Also, there’s no app that compare to this one, because the others are like cartoonish or non life like characters. Napturalista Emojis are life like to me, and my avatar in describing my emotions when I text family & friends. I can tell you their impressed! Let’s appreciate and not discriminate when you believe this app doesn’t meet only 10-15% of your expectations. Please kindly write the app developer of this app to share your input professionally and offer suggestions.

Nice idea poor execution.
I had high hopes for this app but it’s poorly built. You can only access the few dark skin emojis to access more they tell you select unlock but nothing happens, you’re just bought to a page where you can make product purchases and the other images still aren’t added to the keyboard. I uninstalled, I have better options built into the iPhone now.

Thank you for this app. It is so much fun! I love the way you have captured so many of my expressions without dipping into a negative space. Very expressive images that look so much like what I would literally say or do with my own body language. (If only I could have the slim waists and round buns...LOL)

Nice Idea, but narrow view of our beautiful race...very disappointing and unfortunate.
I bought this app and downloaded it very excited and ready to share with my friends however I was very disappointed to find that there was no representation of my skin tone in it, or even close. I am a very fair skinned black woman and I love every shade of black. As a black woman, I would never create an African American app promoting positive sisterhood and leave out certain shades of our race as if they don’t exist. What’s even worse is I emailed the company to try to understand why, and never got any correspondence as if someone was just ignoring my comments and questions. Overall, the idea of this app I think is wonderful but to ignore a really concerned customer who was actually very excited about this product is very disheartening to me and as a result, even though I paid for the app and was very excited to support, I cannot continue to support a company that acts as if I do not exist. I will be deleting this app from my phone after this review. It is very unfortunate that these are people of my own race. My only hope is that this company will read my review and re-think their idea of sisterhood and how they represent our race. It says a lot about who you are...I guess I’m not black enough to be represented, shame.

Nice mojis in the free version. Just don’t like the several steps it takes to put in a text/message. It’s “downloaded “ on my keyboard. But every time I try to open the keyboard while writing a message, I get offered an upgrade for the app. Then there are so many screens just to get to the Moji of my choice. A lotta work for something so cute.

Payment without upgrade
I paid for the upgrade and never received it. I reached out on messenger and no one responded. I sent them an email, still nothing! They just took my money for an app that’s supposed to give emojis but instead gives blurred attachments. These are more like bitmojis but with substantially less options for responses. I can customize bitmoji to be a black girl with natural hair. I didn’t need to pay for this. But here I go trying to support black businesses again. Smdh

The Best App Ever!
I absolutely love this new app that represents women of color. I have been sharing it with my family. My sister who is older than me continued to send me emojis from this App yesterday. I thought she would never stop! We were both like little children with a new toy! Thanks so much for creating this app for us!

Fantastic! Just one thing...
These emojis are truly stunning! It feels wonderful to be represented through animation, so I really appreciate the creators’ strides to do just that! I love that a wide variety of skin tones are depicted, and that each woman is crowned with an unapologetically Black hairstyle! ☺️#BlackGirlMagic
The only drawback I discovered was that all of the women have light brown eyes. This was disheartening to see, as the vast majority of African American women actually have DARK brown eyes. Our dark eye color is a gorgeous physical attribute that is often (and unfortunately) looked down upon in Eurocentric societies, while lighter eye colors are praised. In an attempt to better represent Black women and push back against oppressive stigmas, I hope that the creators will take this detail into consideration and make the appropriate adjustments to celebrate our unique beauty!

Disappointed
I, like others who've submitted reviews, was very excited when I saw the promotion for this app. I erased it before sending a single sassy diva off into the digital universe. Call me petty or just call me someone who works in marketing.... I was shocked to fine that the 'free' skin-toned option was the darkest one. I get it. You want to drive your target market to make a purchase/upgrade and not just linger in the chocolatey goodness of that free edition but, my goodness! Could you not offer more poses or outfits or something!? Why capitalize directly off of our culture's colorisim/shadeism issues by literally putting the 'least desirable' shaded emoji divas out there like that? Any shade lighter than 'me' is an upgrade?

Cute, but...
I have not been able stick a moji on to a previously sent message as it’s advertised. I followed the instructions and held down the wanted moji, then dragged it to the intended message and instead it was copied into the text box and went out as a new message. That feature was the main reason for purchase. I’m pretty disappointed.

This app is amazing personally but also there is some stuff I don’t for one it’s very simple but nice but I wish you had more choices for clothing and hair and faces and also a bit more skin variety like I know it’s an app for variety but just a bit more mixes and also I wish you could make your own personal clothing and person and hair and stuff like that but really that’s all after that stuff the app is really good

It would be cool if they could be more emotional like actual emojis (i. e. Sad, flirty, mad, happy birthday, I miss you etc.) and if you could customize them to make them more personal that would be awesome. I love this concept and idea. Grateful for the melanin magic! This app will give you all kind of life. My friends keep asking me where I’m getting these emojis...y’all this app is everything and it’s easy to use . All instructions if read correctly are accurate

I downloaded, opened, paid for premium for $2 and gave full keyboard access. Listen it’s a good start but in my opinion it is very much still in the beta phase. As another reviewer mentioned it’s not a true emoji. It’s a copied and pasted sticker (bad resolution due to low pixels). Also, while I was drawn to it because of the natural hair, all of the stickers have hazel eyes. You can’t change eye color (to brown for example). There are only four skin shades. 4! of medium brown to dark brown. Not one representative of my color, and none representative of our lighter to fair skinned sisters at all. I am disappointed and will definitely be deleting this limited app.

Why would I
I was very excited when I saw this app and was excited to show, share and tell my friends all about this new app with this black girl magic, but why would I? There are not a lot of options and they lure you in to make in app purchases. The emojis don’t show us working, on the phone, getting our hair did, being with our families, working out or being in church.
Why not have some of those options? Why would I want to purchase this again?
