Dan Crenshaw approved
I’ve been looking for a solid conservative news source that’s not far right, full of grifters, and conspiracy theory ridden. Congressman Dan Crenshaw recommended the National Review in one of his podcasts and it’s been awesome so far. Great in depth reporting with facts not random “sources”. Keep up the good work!

Glad to be back.
I read the Wall Street Journal, the Boston Globe, WAPO, NYT, andBloomberg every day. NR has the best essays of any of them. At this time, it is important to evaluate what they are all saying as I contemplate how I am going to vote. What is your?
National Review does the research.
National Research does the research and seeks the truth no matter where it takes it. Yes, it has a limited government, liberty oriented, conservative/libertarian perspective but doesn’t sugarcoat information or facts to promote that perspective.
Still here
Just finished Dan mclaughlin’s don’t burn own fortifications. It’s articles like these that I save them and take notes. I frequently return to saved articles to build and reinforce a body of knowledge. His military metaphor was apt.
Love the writing, not a fan of the app
I am a fan of the writing of National Review. No question about it. I am not a fan of this app because of the ads. I’d really like to be able to pay to get rid of the ads. The quality of the ads is so poor, they are stuck in readers faces in a most annoying manner. I’m a fan of NR why am I made to feel that you are selling me to the lowest bidder.

Premier conservative journal both under Buckley and Lowery
As a new immigrant to America in 1967,
I started reading NR two years into learning the English language.
A relative had introduced me to the magazine and the NYS Conservative Party.
Still registered conservative, still reading NR on line….
The hard copy back then was a treasure to hold.
It was the Premiere conservative journal both under Buckley and Lowery ! It still

Notifications Load Article in browser not app
If notifications are enabled and one chooses that article, it opens the app then the article within a browser rather than the article in the app. It should load the article within the app.
School of Choice
Audrey Fahlberg does another nice job of capturing information in a useful format.
Website
I like it’s content but pop up messages are annoying
Lacks common sense functionality
Setting aside content (excellent), the app is lacking in one very significant and annoying aspect:
Unless I force quit the app, it should retain my place. Speaking as a programmer, this should be obvious and not difficult. Instead, flipping between apps resets to the top of the screen, which is really unacceptable.

Update app!!!
This app badly needs dark mode!
Subscription confusion
My subscription ends with the June, 2025 issue, but I can’t read I can’t login. I realize the June edition comes out in April, but I don’t understand why my subscription is labeled as “Expired” .
biased beyond belief
they don’t even try to hide the bias
Signs Off Immediately
I’ve tried everything I know but this frustrating app simply won’t stay signed on.
Excellent political commentary
Arguably the best source for conservative opinion, commentary, and analysis of the news of the day. NR also reports on current events that the mainstream media ignores.
Ads
I’m a premium member and bombarded by ads. Won’t be renewing when the time comes.
Always on Point
A great source of timely wide-ranging conservative commentary and news from a conservative perspective. National Review covers a lot of news that is ignored by the MSM and was vindicated with its coverage of the Russiagate, Mueller investigation, and Covid stories when the MSM was flat out wrong. Well worth a subscription.
