It’s not perfect, but I can actually read now

If you have been looking for a way to read websites with OpenDyslexic font on your phone this does the job. The only let down being that it only works for Safari, but I would argue that says more about the other web browser apps than this one.

I don’t love that it’s only for Safari, but I can adjust where I view web articles and web documents. The fact that I can now read a whole webpage and not have to reread each sentence ten times is fantastic.

The instructions to apply the OpenDyslexic font on Safari pages are clear and relatively easy to follow.

Waste of 10 Bucks

The tutorial on how to set it up is inaccurate. I’m running iOS 17.3 on an iPhone 13 and there are no options to add or use the “apply style” or “edit style” in the Safari “Edit Actions” menu.

I have no use for this app if it’s not possible to configure it to work on my phone.

Worth every penny

I can't begin to describe how much easier this app has made my life to read text heavy web pages that I need to read; particularly for studying. Fantastic, thanks very much Navidys.

Doesn't work

Purchased your products and doesn't work in Safari

Fantastic

I have had the other two apps for a while from open dyslexia on my iPhone, I also have it on my google chrome and Microsoft word

But this now lets you add it to change how your websites on safari looks on the iPhone, only one slight niggle is ever single website I go on I have to hit apple style to get it to change it :( but it’s a good step in the right direction

Please bring out one to change the font on my phone for things like texting or typing say on messages, Facebook app, twitter like a generic font I can choice for my over all phone

Keep up the good work and making the world more accessible ❤️

Bad App

Does Not work.

Link from other app is misleading

I bought this app from the main Open Dyslexic app. That link did not say this is only useable in Safari.

The tutorial shows only one step, forwarding to a different app. You can't open one webpage and click links to stay with the Open Dyslexic font. Forwarding never offered to send to this app. It was not a suggested app.

I will be asking Apple for a refund.

Safari now has OpenDyslexic

WORTH EVERY PENNY. This is awesome.

Powerful tool to help struggling readers and visually impaired

Powerful, and easy to use. Simple to change the font size, letter spacing, font and/or background color of web pages in Safari and on text documents on your Mac. The font and display-manager for web and desktop includes the OpenDyslexic font, which has features, that have been shown to help many children (and adults!) who are having difficulty learning to read. The letter shapes and the tailored thickness, heavier at the bottom, make it easier for a struggling reader to distinguish 'b' from 'd' (left-right inversion) and 'b' from 'p' (up-down inversion) and provide many helpful visual cues to the struggling reader. It is easy to try different background and font colors and sizes to see what works best. It is convenient and inexpensive. A very elegant and powerful set of tools to augment the reading instruction -- and to make web-browsing more comfortable for visually-impaired adults and children.
