Naviguesser is an unofficial compass and planner for Burning Man. It exists to keep you off your phone. BM has thousands of events. Reading all of it on a small screen, then standing around deciding, is time you could have spent out there. BEFORE YOU GO — get excited! See what the playa provides this year: swipe through camps, art, and events — one card at a time, simple flow, no menus. Build a plan in minutes. Invite your campmates to trade picks and plan together. ON THE PLAYA Open the app and spin the compass dial. It chooses a cool destination for you and points there. Spin again to go somewhere else. The app looks for great destinations that are close by and on your way. ON YOUR WRIST Turn your Apple Watch into a magical device that leads you to the next adventure — bike-friendly, no phone required. Naviguesser works offline once events have synced. Event, art and camp data comes from the official Burning Man schedule. This app is not affiliated, endorsed, or verified by Burning Man Project.

SPINNING BACK Spin the dial past a place you wanted and it used to be gone for good. Now flick the other way and it comes back — every place this walk has sent you to, in order, on the phone and on the watch. Turning away from a place no longer throws that list away. Only arriving starts a fresh one. ON THE WATCH The navigate screen is rebuilt. Turn the crown instead of swiping between pages: the dial is bigger, the name of the place is readable, and a line at the top says what it is and roughly where. Descriptions are no longer cut off after three lines. ON THE PHONE Details is a button you can actually see, it closes with an X in its corner, and the whole description scrolls instead of stopping short. It stays open when you spin to a new place. The dial no longer jumps when a spin lands, and the distance counts down as you walk instead of jumping every few seconds. ALSO While you are walking somewhere, the screen has stopped offering to send you somewhere else.
