Good anchorage but watch out for the submarine cables
This is a good spot for those wanting to avoid the busier anchorages of Koukamaries around the corner. Sheltered from the Meltemi by a small headland. Anchored in 4m in sand / seaweed outside the swimming - good holding. Two beach bars where you can grab an evening snacks. Watch out for the submarine cables (the position is marked by the white sign on the shore ). Amazing view of the sunset over the Trikeri peninsula and Evia.

Booking no cancellation
I wish you would allow the option to cancel as we request several berths and don’t know who will accept and then get charged if we don’t go!

Fantastic anchorage for N to SSE wind
We stayed after a couple of days of NE winds and it was the perfect spot. Wind was light to moderate NE to SE during our stay and south of the harbour was as peaceful as any anchorage we have been to. No seals this time of year. Would be terrible in S to W winds.
Fab lunch stop
Spent 4 hours in here swimming and snorkelling with lots of little fish. The water is really clear with anchoring in 5 metres
Beaux fonds
Mouillage très agréable, propre et protégé. Beaucoup de bateaux mais il y a de la place dans la baie. Beaucoup de restaurants sympas , une boucherie un pharmacie et des petits supermarchés.
Nous avons passé plusieurs nuits tranquilles au mouillage puis au port loin de la foule. Très authentique et reposant. Best sunsets of the Ionans!

Vis Mooring field
We easily picked up a mooring ball closer to old town. Came in around 3:30 plenty of balls left for our early June trip. Cost 60 euro with access to showers.
Easy sheltered sandy anchoring
Just off the beech, 5m. The sea grass to be avoided is obvious. Quiet and mainly sheltered storm south winds (not perfect protection but not bad)

This is my go to app even when I’m not on the water and I’m planning next year’s multi month itinerary. It has all the reviews and distances and recommendations to create a gorgeous itinerary. Went on the ocean. I consulted daily for mooring conditions and best spots to pull into.

Neueste Version auf iPad Müll
Bewertungen werden auf iPad nur noch in einem schmalen Fenster angezeigt. Das mag auf einem iPhone ok sein, aber auf einem iPad ist das einfach nur Müll. Zumal Texte teilweise abgeschnitten werden.
Schon mal was von adaptivem UI Design gehört ? Vorher ging es doch auch Vernünftig. Man muss nicht immer alles kaputtpatchen was funktioniert hat.
Und von den lächerlichen Übersetzungen will ich gar nicht erst anfangen.

Eigentlich Lieblingsapp
Navily ist seit Jahren eine meiner absoluten Lieblingsapps beim Segeln. Die aktuelle iPad Version ist leider nahezu unbrauchbar. Bitte schnell wieder ändern!!

Great resource
We use Navily as our main resource for anchorages and marinas. We really appreciate the wealth of knowledge left by fellow cruisers. The wind/swell forecast is usually spot on.
Lovely anchorage (29 May 26)
As others have mentioned, the pontoon is not present. Two guys come out and offer their free moorings line for anchor and line ashore. Guess they would want you to eat at the restaurant. We opted to just anchor. Easy run to the restaurant at the head of the bay or round the corner to Syvota town.

Wir fahren jeden Tag ins Blaue und suchen uns nach den Angaben von Navily die besten Plätze. Es stimmt meist alles! Auch die Bewertungen der Segelfamilie ist meist sachlich und hilfreich! Das einzige was man anmerken kann ist, dass einige Ankerstellen als Ankerplatz ausgewiesen obwohl das Ankern verboten ist. Sonst sehr zuverlässig 👍
