An Update
This app now ranks at the very top of the navigation software world. The usability is excellent, its availability across pretty much all O/S environments is unique and the (new) functionalities keep coming.
Large selection of weather/currents/wave models and weather charts, for visualization to routing, a rich routing function (no-go/slow zones, polars library, etc.), AIS integration, weather stations, tides, and more. Of course, the development team has considerable sailing experience (it shows), but unlike some established players, the software itself is state-of-the-art in user interface (particularly on phones/tablets) and the team is super responsive. Great stuff.

Je suis très content de NavimetriX. Une équipe de concepteurs toujours prêts à aider les utilisateurs tout en étant à l’écoute des nos remarques. Je recommande très fortement.

Pas encore abouti mais …
Pas grand chose de plus que W4D sauf … le prix ! Pour une appli qui ne prend pas les cartes vectorielles, notamment, 80 euros + cartes, ça commence à faire.
Du coup je ne vais pas reprendre mon abonnement W4D et aller vers une toute autre application.
