Can’t Even Use App
The app would be fine if I was able to access it more than five percent of the time. I cannot do what is mandated through the app because I’m never able to access it.
Horrible app/website
I go to NCDES, attempt to login and it logs me out. This is over and over. I was to get paid as of Jan 31, 2024 and still waiting. I think they fix the site so you cannot click on what you need and it won't open. Grrr
Can’t even log in
The website was a tragedy so I decided to try the app. It won’t even let me log in. I’m using the same credentials as the website and it says my username and password are wrong. And it won’t allow me to change my password. I’m stuck. Useless.

It just says no connection and i tried on iphone and my galaxy both.
Never works
I have successfully used this app once in three months. The website is the same situation. This is the first time in my life I’ve ever had to file for unemployment, I can’t believe some people have been going through this for much longer! How frustrating for a government service to be defective and shotty.

The whole thing is nothing but a glitch. As soon as you long in it says session expired. Tried to log into the actual website to file and you can’t, it’s like they don’t want you to submit your certification or something…
Useless
Came here because I couldn’t find a way to access my documents online, because that site is broken too. App continuously says session expired and logs you out directly after logging in. First time applying for unemployment and it’s actually impossible. What a joke.
Nc DES App for unemployment is horrible
I have been trying to file my weekly certification since 12 noon today and it’s now 820pm and it will not send a verification code to my email at all and I have to have it filed tonight to receive my benefits Direct Deposited in the morning. Ughhh

Quite possibly one of the most useless apps you’ll ever use in your life.
Needs some work
I could sign on but when I would click the lines at the top left hand side it would tell me my time had expired. I tried twice and both times it kicked me out.
If I could give trips 1 Star I would
This is one of the worst apps I e ever used. I wish I could give it zero stars. The app keeps logging me out as soon as I login in and before I can click on anything. It’s a total waste of time.

Why is it so complicated to file a simple unemployment claim come to this app it does not work I went to the actual DES site it will not allow you to file the claim why is it such a problem please fix this

Fix or disable
This is this most unhelpful site for recipients of NC unemployment. Too often the site is down or the session expires before the user ever starts. The website is almost equally as useless! The app needs to be fixed to assist accordingly or just disable it so clients don’t have yet another useless tool.
