NDC Scout

NDC Scout helps users quickly search public FDA drug product and package data by NDC, brand name, generic name, labeler, or ingredient. It is designed for fast reference lookups, showing package NDCs, active ingredients, dosage form, route, labeler, listing dates, marketing status, and related public shortage records when available. Exact package lookups use NDC Scout's developer-operated service and its regularly refreshed local FDA NDC/NSDE mirror, with NIH/NLM RxNorm as a server-side fallback. Name searches and safety checks continue to use public FDA openFDA data. The app does not require an account or API key. NDC Scout is an informational reference tool. It does not provide medical advice and should not replace official product labeling or professional clinical judgment.
