What's New in Neaptide

1.2

October 4, 2026

A clearer screen after the hold. The read is now one simple statement, and the technique it picked takes centre stage: its name, one line on what it asks of you, and a drawing of its shape that traces itself at the real pace. Breathing techniques show their in, hold and out; movement techniques show their swing, beat or effort. Think the read is wrong? "No — I'm flat, not wired" is now a proper button. It wears the colour of where it takes you, and a small tide inside it rises or drains to show which way you're switching. Stepping replaces Rocking: stand up if you can, and step to a brisk, even beat. Cold contact now asks you to cool your face or neck. Softer arrivals: the read and closing screens fade in piece by piece, and the water in the Neaptide mark now moves on every screen. With Reduce Motion on, all of it holds still.

Just a moment!

Love the easy interface, perfect for taking a couple of minutes for mindfulness. It gives options for different exercises as well. Highly recommended!

Great tool

Pretty neat! As someone who suffers through both the highs and lows, this is a handy tool to have. Beautiful interface, too.

A refreshing approach to mindfulness

I really love how simple Neaptide is. Instead of scrolling through a bunch of exercises, it helps figure out whether you need to slow down or come back up and gives you something to try. I also love being able to read the “why” behind each exercise afterward. It’s simple, easy to use, and actually feels helpful in the moment!

Easy to use and insightful!

Neaptide is a refreshing reminder to slow down and take a break. I really appreciate its simple, thoughtful approach. Rather than overwhelming you with information or complicated features, it gives you an insightful moment to pause, reset, and focus on taking care of yourself.

The tips are practical and easy to incorporate into everyday life, making the experience feel genuinely useful rather than preachy. It’s a small investment of time that can make a meaningful difference in how you feel and approach the rest of your day.

Simple, insightful, and surprisingly effective. A great app for anyone who could use a little more intention and self-care in their daily routine.
