Nearby Approach

Nearby helps you connect with people you cross paths with in real life. See people around you using simple proximity areas — Nearby, Close, and Very Close — without displaying exact distances. HOW NEARBY WORKS • Discover people nearby • Send and receive friend requests • Build a private friends list • Have private one-on-one text conversations • Share your profile using your personal QR code • Use Ghost Mode when you want to stay invisible to nearby users while still using the app REAL LIFE FIRST Nearby is designed around a simple idea: see people in real life first, then connect. Instead of adding strangers online and hoping to meet someday, Nearby helps you connect with people you may have already crossed paths with. YOUR PRIVACY Your phone number is private and is never displayed to other users. Nearby does not show other users your exact location or exact distance. FRIENDS Keep track of the people you've connected with, privately message your friends, and manage your connections from one place. SAFETY & CONTROL You control who can contact you. Nearby includes friend requests, blocking, community rules, and safety reporting tools. Real people. Real places. Real connections.
