Malfunctions
This app has been working fine since I started using it, but just recently it started having issues connecting to Facebook. The other issue I noticed is certain features within the app; looking weird. Please provide a fix/update to resolve or provide a work around solution. Thank you.
Developer sucks
Has anyone had the developer contact you about the issue? So far i have had the same problems tha it doesn’t connect and messed up my Vm46 app and keeps asking check password. Im going to all outlets to write a bad review. Haven’t heard back from nearstream also.
Update killed $600 Camera
Forced app update has killed my NearStream VM camera. It is not able to rest or join the Wi-Fi or HDMI out. My stream operation is dead as a doornail. Ripped off for $600! Cam was great for 3 months now I am off the air. No way to get hardware support. Deeply frustrating, disappointed and sad. Bad software.

PLEASE UPDATE THIS WITH MORE AUDIO OPTIONS
It would be extremely helpful if you all allowed microphone and interface permissions for sound. The built-in mics are not good for environments with speakers, performers, instruments. I need an interface path for audio. Please!
Lower thirds and other graphics
The lower thirds options SUCK and when will the improve things like the transitions being able to upload, better graphics and intros and endings???? They need to look at Switcher. I would still be with them if they had cameras like in your stream, because their features graphics and all are phenomenal.

Terrible audio
The camera quality is great but the audio is awful and you CANNOT use another microphone
Getting better
I’d like to see 3 things that will, I feel, bring this top marks.
1. Have the device record and functions like a camera. It records videos to the SD card like a hard drive, not like a camera. Final Cut doesn’t see a camera archive because this, it makes it hard sync footage. It relies on camera names, and you can’t name these cameras. They just don’t function like normal cameras.
2. Record like a camera that supports exFAT. Currently produces 1GB files, which is really annoying because it’s harder to sync footage. They don’t all record/produce files at the EXACT same rate, so you get gaps in coverage. Again, we need a camera that functions and is recognized as a proper camera.
3. Support for wireless usb-c dongle for microphones. When I plug one in, it lights up as though it’s connected, but it doesn’t receive any audio. Need the camera to function like a proper camera, not a specialty item

James Johnson, scenographer
The vm33 -and its multi camera app - is an ideal component for live-streaming a classical Anglican service in a historic cathedral. The powerful zoom, amazing image-quality, and acute sensitivity to colour and light make this a gracious presence in demanding conditions. As we are already setup for NDI (with an M4250 switch), we look forward to being able to achieve even greater control of these lovely cameras.

Updates bring this one to the front!
V2.0 has flipped the script on this camera! It is ready for your streams and recordings. Beautiful image control. Reliable connection to my iPad. 2k recording. I’m recommending it.
