Terrible
The worst app I’ve ever seen!

Avoid this app. The company that bought out the failed Neato company was supposed to support this app, but I got an email today saying they are backing out of their agreement - hiss boo!
No app update
I have not been able to use my vacuum in months because it says the app needs an update. There update out there to be used.
App update required
It looks like my Neato finally is obsolete, as it will not work anymore as of October 8th. The App says an update is required, but as we all know - this company stopped support some time ago. Too bad, because I always loved my Neato D7. I am sad to see it go.
Unusable with the latest Apple iOS update
The app is unusable for switching or managing the smartvacs connected WiFi after the iOS 26 release. They are literally worthless now. Failure on every company involved’s part
RIP Neato
Super finicky, no update in 2 years. My D7 still works. But the D6 doesn’t. Don’t want to switch brands but will be forced to eventually!
Aaaaand accounts hacked

Nothing changed but not allow into account for some reason. Had to reset passeord. Password reset - gave it the SAME password and it worked. So yes that’s a sign that all our accounts were hacked and they want us to change them!

D6. Nothing changed. This AM, can’t control, rogue robot. Had to hold down power switch to turn off. Deleted from app Went to add vacuum again, couldn’t do it. Turns out directions inside the app are wrong, based on Neato’s own help section on the website. Still can’t connect.

App not allowing vacuum to connect
Have a D3 and a D4. After getting a new WiFi provider I need to reconnect it to the app, which even after connecting is not
"connected". The App is not letting me pair with vacuum no matter what I try. I connect to Neato access point and it tells me to name it and after that it doesn’t progress. Endless loop. Have to manually start vacuum all the time, which takes longer to vacuum. I want to set up vacuum schedules again. How can I get this resolved?

Say App needs up update
App says it needs to update however there’s no way it will let me update it. I downloaded the new app but it doesn’t work because my robot is a D6 help me out here.
Basic functionality missing
When you try to set up floor plans, there’s no way to see them in the app after a run. Instead, you have to click on an iOS notification which may or may not take you to the map in question. If not, well you’re out of luck and you have to redo the entire mapping cycle again. For all that is good just hire a few iOS engineers. This is embarrassing.

Everything is going well so far.
I have been using the app for 5 years and it has always worked well. I may admit that I would like to have more options directly in the app for buying part of my Neato, but the controls work well; simple use does not need more.
DO NOT BUY
This company went out of business in 2023 and is no longer supporting their apps, Alexa/Siri connections, etc. If you find one, do not buy! You will also not get any replacement parts.
Horrible app
I would highly recommend against buying a Neato product. So many other options which are more reliable and less expensive. This app is terrible. It used to work and would show a map of where it cleaned but it since has stopped working.
Can’t name
I’m supposed to name my robot to connect it, but it doesn’t want to do it.
Awful
This product is so utterly unreliable as to make it a complete waste of floor space. The customer service is also nonexistent so it is impossible to get problems rectified in anything like a reasonable timeframe. I wish I had never purchased this bit of tech and my advice is to avoid at all costs.
Vac is okay. Connectivity, app, and support are terrible
Most annoying robot vac experience I’ve had, and I’ve been using various robot vacs since 2010.
Worst app
I can’t change my password. It send a link to my email and when I click it, it gives me the same link Horrible app. Not happy with this product.
D7 won’t connect to WiFi
I have tried dozens of times, but it stops after a couple minutes and reverts back to name your robot screen
Will not allow me to sign in
The link on the email to sent up an account is not available!
