Never again!
This is an expensive app for what it does. The paid version is just as good as the free one. Takes days to upload the reports, is quite often inaccurate with times (apparently we averaged 1 kn/hr and took three hours to travel from Pittwater to Newcastle! What a joke. Very frustrating!

Can’t log in
After i enter my details the app just freeze and stay in loading mode, it’s been a week i try to re download the app , change password, everything but cannot get it work
Would be so much better if they gave a place to write your own personal notes for each trip
Not enough detail about how it works . Like what exactly do you get with “silver” pay option ? Or they talk about weather but nowhere in this thing shows anything about weather. Very lacking

Nebo is the perfect product to keep up with other loopers and stay in contact with new friends. Would definitely recommend it.
Worthless tool!
Rarely works. Map locks up and doesn’t reboot. Have to delete and then reload to get working again….albeit temporarily. Worthless tool
Horrible Update
Voyages won’t save. What’s the use of having the app if you can save voyages??
Used To Work
App stopped working after the last update. Can’t log voyages and our boat is hundreds of miles behind us. I have reinstalled a dozen times. Glad I didn’t waste money on the hardware. Bad enough I wasted money on the silver subscription.
New update is terrible.
Fantastic app for boating before updating… now the map loads much slower, boats aren’t in the same spots when you zoom in as they were when zoomed out, the icons for the vessels are too large and the place icons are too small, voyages won’t save, font is hard to read, you can’t pinch and zoom at the same time and mainly my voyages are not being completely tracked aka they are stoping and starting in random places then going with a straight line. Very frustrating when it was working so well before, very glad I didn’t upgrade my plan, and waste a hundred bucks.

Scarcely any users in Australia, waste of time
This is an Australian app. As of 2024 it has almost no users, even in south east Queensland, the most popular boating centre of its home country.
Most users are corporate anyway – rescue boats and charter boat companies (not even charter boat users).
Don't waste your time downloading, there is no point bothering with this app.

Great App
Does what they say wasn’t use. Keep the family and friends updated.
Can’t say enough good about this app
We have the actual Nebolink installed in our boat. Since our boat was wintering far away from our home, we were able to monitor our battery voltage with the Nebolink which helped us discover the boat had become unplugged. I love that Nebo sends me both daily and monthly summaries in a format that is much more complete than I could ever do on my own. It was also great to be able to locate and communicate with other Loopers on our recent voyage through Canada. Love the app and highly recommend!

I had checked out Nebo a few years ago - but tried again and it’s definitely improving. Sharing a track of my journey has worked out great.

Incessantly asking to turn on my location and maps are too small
Would also be a lot better if you could zoom and zoom out on friends trips and locations. The maps are so zoomed in I can't tell where they are. I end up going on google maps and typing in the name of the nearest town but that won't work if they are out in the middle of the ocean.
Not much use anymore, really disappointed
Fab app when we moved aboard a boat 18 months ago, came to use it again in the last few weeks (April 2024) and the app has lost most of its features, such as the ability to share journeys, download journeys, even view your journeys once made, (because clicking upon the voyage only momentarily shows a map) then closes to another screen.
Whilst I appreciate some features are now ‘subscription only’ the fact it “glitches out” when trying to view a journey, completely puts me off subscribing anyway. Such a good resource for boaters has now become almost, I might even say, useless

Great For Commercial Fleet Management
Have been really happy with the service at Nebo and would highly recommend the system to anyone wanting to track vessels, speed tracking, geo fences we use for our commercial fleet. Straight forward and to the point, deliver the product they promised 🙏
Was a great app
In the beginning, this was a great app. I had recommended to others. But then things changed and now the logs aren’t accessible unless you purchase an annual subscription. Went from having access to logs to where it only holds three months worth of logs unless you spend money. It is like they decided to hold your information hostage. Disappointing.

Locking up
The app continues to lock up for me. I am not sure what is going on.
Never lost
We purchased Nebo as a way of creating logs automatically. I learned about this AGLCA. Best money spent. We bought the physical device that went on anytime the boat went on and started moving.
Perfect as you don’t have to worry about logging the trip everything‘s done for you.
Another cool feature that I like is to take pictures when we’re under the way and they go into the daily log that we share with family.
A lot of bang for the buck.
