About

Choose the music. See it on your fretboard. Then practise the same view in time. NeckPilot is a fretboard learning, practice, and jam companion for beginner and intermediate guitarists. Its built-in catalog already contains scales, chords, arpeggios, and positions. Choose the material and NeckPilot maps it to your current instrument and tuning. BUILD A USEFUL FRETBOARD VIEW Explore the full neck or focus on one of five positions. Explorer Layers lets you combine scales, chords, arpeggios, and patterns from the same key or from outside it. Compare common and different tones without switching between separate diagrams. VISUALIZE, THEN PRACTISE Save an Explorer workspace and load its musical Layers into the Metronome or Drum Machine. Each Layer becomes a timed step, so the fretboard changes with the beat while you play. Tempo Trainer can raise the tempo automatically from your chosen Start BPM to Target BPM. USE IT WHILE YOU JAM When you do not know a song's key, Key Finder listens to a chord passage and estimates three likely major or minor candidates. Open one candidate in Explorer, find a familiar pentatonic or scale position, and check the available chords. Results are labelled Strong, Possible, or Uncertain because more than one key can fit the same music. LEARN THE THEORY BEHIND THE SHAPES Use Theory, harmonization, and applied Guides to study intervals, scale degrees, chord construction, related chords, practice advice, tablature, staff notation, and reviewed fingering where it is available. Triads by string set shows root position and inversions across adjacent strings. LEARN BY DOING The Trainer contains nine games. Find one note or every location, build an interval, assemble a scale, complete a position, practise by string or across the neck, reveal answers, or respond with your instrument in microphone-assisted Play Mode. FREE INCLUDES • Full-neck notes, scales, modes, triads, and baseline arpeggios • Common/CAGED, 3NPS, pentatonic positions, and custom scale patterns • Search, reverse lookup, harmonization, built-in progressions, and Favorites • Nine Trainer games, Reveal Mode, and microphone-assisted Play Mode • Tuner and Key Finder • Metronome, Drum Machine, and Tempo Trainer • Practice Notebook and Signal themes ONE OPTIONAL PRO UNLOCK ADDS • The expanded scale, 37-chord-quality, and 20-arpeggio catalog • Custom scale and chord formulas • Explorer Layers, note comparison, Mask, and timed Layer Practice • Applied Scale, Chord, and Arpeggio Guides • Interactive Learn views and Triads by string set • Custom progressions, Progression Map, and visual progression practice • 72 searchable tunings across guitar, bass, ukulele, banjo, and extended-string instruments • Custom 4-to-8-string guitar tunings that remap the full neck and generate five scale/arpeggio positions • Adjustable A4 concert pitch from 415.0 to 466.2 Hz, with 432, 440, and 442 Hz presets NeckPilot Pro is one purchase with no subscription. The app has no NeckPilot account, advertising, app analytics, or tracking. The main learning and practice tools work offline. Previously verified Pro access and a complete built-in instrument catalog remain available without a connection. Microphone audio is analysed live on your device. NeckPilot does not record, save, or upload it. The app contacts the App Store when it loads, purchases, restores, or verifies Pro. On supported systems, it may also check Apple's service for a reviewed declarative instrument-catalog update. Metronome and Drum Machine playback can continue with the screen locked, with controls on the Lock Screen and in Control Center. Pro can be restored on supported devices using the same Apple Account. Practice data, Favorites, custom content, and settings stay local and do not sync between devices. Family Sharing is not included.
