Too hard to figure out!

I spent forever trying to figure out how to add my thread inventory. And ads! Ugh!!

Crappy interface

Non intuitive, dcrummy interface. The floss numbers get deleted. No way to restore. Paid for no add features, yet adds still play…

Really nice UI

Lovely app with an awesome database through the sister app (Needleply) and sooo smooth to use. I tried out the app a couple of years ago and stopped, because it was so difficult to batch actions. Came back and the developer’s made it so much easier; I’ll probably continue using it. The price to remove ads is a little expensive for what it is, but if the developer keeps making updates I think it will be worth it.

Some ideas for improvement:
- Have a quick way to check off threads (individually and all at once) in the “Purchase” tab and have it added to “Stock”
- Have the option to collapse sections (e.g. Anchor, DMC, etc) when searching in “Add Thread” so it’s easier if you want to scroll down
- Reduce how many clicks it takes to edit skein counts (e.g. when you touch the skein icon, the number should already be highlighted so the numpad pops up automatically)
- Have a bulk edit count option (e.g. select individual threads, then enter a number to edit all their skein counts), and a similar way to delete them instead of having to swipe left all the time
- Not sure if it’s a glitch, but I only get the “skeins” option for thread count (no “metres/yards”) - may as well just move it to Settings
- More ways to list Projects instead of alphabetically (e.g. in order of Status)
- Keep updating the threads in Needleply (there’s some new TGA and WDW ones I couldn’t find). It’s already awesome and huge though!

Update fail

Used to love this app, could see my threads & which project they were used in at a touch, the latest update has sadly removed this feature and I now have to go into each individual project to find where a thread colour is used. The most useful part now is the shade card.
Such a shame that an excel spreadsheet will give me better functionality.

Could be soooo much better

Pro: Keeps track of your floss.

Con: A LOT of work to get your inventory into the app. Space key does not work when typing in names. You have to look up names, numbers, etc. You have to go to a different screen in order to put in your inventory number (this is the most ridiculous thing in my opinion). There is no pre-made database. Honestly, I would pay to have an app with DMC floss already available to inventory. This app is time consuming.

Developer, please made this more user friendly!!!!

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately we cannot create a database of all existing materials - this is unrealistic. Therefore, we have created a separate application Needleply with the most popular ones, where we add new ones upon request. So you can either add the necessary threads/beads/fabrics manually or import ready-made palettes from this application. As a result, you won't have a bunch of unnecessary material palettes, only those that you use. This is all described in the FAQ section in the application settings and in the store application description.
