great app

love this app, easy to use with needlentory and so helpful. I would really love for the 24 new colors of DMC tapestry wool to be added (701 - 724)!

Not user friendly

There are no instructions! Impossible to navigate. The YouTube videos do not thoroughly explain the interaction between the two apps or how to add your stash.

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback. Needlentory has a FAQ section with basic information and the ability to ask questions if you have any problems. Also, when you first launch it, there is information about importing ready-made palettes and a link to the Needleply palettes app. The Needleply app has a section about exporting and pictures for better understanding. Our YouTube channel has a video about importing/exporting palettes (Needlentory FAQ: how to import ready-made material palettes) and some other base functions.

Easy to Use

By far, my favorite to catalog my stash. I do wish the apps were combined so there wasn’t a need to import updated inventories from another app. Would like to see ThreadWorx added but still a diverse catalog that is updated! Would like to be able to update my stash with less selections such as press and hold or change quantity from search list. Have not been able to see what inventory I don’t have in my palettes (in case I missed logging something) which has been a bit tedious when validating. Overall, highly recommend. A little bit of a learning curve to use but handy!

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback! The ThreadworX palette has already been added in the latest version. We are thinking about faster ways to add threads to stock. We will not combine applications, because the original idea was that one application allows you to use only the threads you need, without overloading with unnecessary ones, and also makes it possible to keep track of any threads, not just embroidery threads. We are thinking about the possibility of not only importing ready-made palettes, but also giving the ability to update them (check what differences etc). If you have any more suggestions or issues, please feel free to reach out to fancycrossstitch@gmail.com 🤗

Need more threads

Sorry but until you add valdani and eleganza threads which are used a lot with wool I cannot give you a 5.

All in all it is a nice app to have.

Great but Missing Classic Colorworks

One of the most used threads by crossstitchers today is Classic Colorworks. I am very sad to see it is not in the library of manufacturers listed in iMuline. I am using a workaround in iThreads but it is not ideal. Please consider adding Classic Colorworks.

Suggestion!

Hoping you’ll add DMC “flower thread” series

(Numbered in the 2000s, ex: 2309, 2394, 2413, 2318, 2732)
