Fire in both directions from the center of the screen. Melt the closing blocks with an ever-growing rain of balls. Break a gold block and the sign starts lighting up, one letter at a time. ■ Closing in from both sides Blocks push in one row at a time, from above and from below. Which threat do you cut down first? That call, every turn, is the difference between surviving and not. This is the heart of the game. ■ The more you fire, the more you get Spend the coins you earn on more balls, more power, a faster stream. Four balls at the start; before long they fill the screen. Infinite bounces, curveballs, side warp: the further you go, the more the board itself changes how you play. ■ Lit, or not Break a gold block and the board slows to a crawl while the NEON sign lights up letter by letter. N, E: does it stop there, or does it finish and drop you in? When it lights, balls pour in, WAVEs speed up, and the screen melts. ■ EXTEND NEON doesn’t just run out of time. At 0.0 the sign draws once more, and if EXTEND lights, you keep going. Break gold blocks during NEON to bank STOCK, and you get another draw at the buzzer. Every time it holds, another “!” snaps onto the sign and your balls and power go up. NEON! to NEON!!! ■ Coins while you’re away Coins keep piling up while the app is closed, up to 8 hours’ worth.
