Neon Swarm is a synthwave tower defence game in bright neon on dark purple. Invaders pour out of glowing gates and follow neon roads to your core. Build towers on the grid beside the road, upgrade them, and stop the swarm before it gets through.
30 LEVELS IN FOUR WORLDS
• Sunset Strip: violet skies and wireframe mountains. Learn the basics: merging roads, crossings and air lanes.
• Neon City: a lit skyline, warp gates, forking streets and armoured convoys.
• Chrome Coast: the sea and a lighthouse, turbo lanes and sand drifts that change how fast the road runs, and repair drones that patch up their convoys.
• The Mainframe: inside the machine the swarm comes from. Twelve levels with firewalls that hold the swarm back and let it pour through in bursts, and the Jammer, an invader that knocks out the towers around it.
SIX TOWERS, THREE TIERS EACH
Blaster, Rocket Pod, Laser, Tesla Coil, Cryo and Mortar. Damage is kinetic or energy: armour blunts bullets, shields soak energy, and only some towers can hit flyers. Power nodes add 25% damage to the tower on them. Choose what each tower targets (first, last, strongest or closest), and sell for 70% back.
TEN KINDS OF INVADER
Glitches, runners, tanks, swarms, shielders, splitters, flyers, overlords, patchers and jammers. Each has one rule to learn, and a tower that beats it.

MADE TO RUN SMOOTHLY
Every tower, invader and road is drawn live in Metal, with no sprites. Every sound effect and song is synthesised in code, and the grid pulses to the beat. It aims for 120 fps on ProMotion displays, and eases off its frame rate and effects when your device is hot or in Low Power Mode.
For iPhone, iPhone Duo and iPad, in landscape. Plays offline. No ads and no in-app purchases.
