upgraded froze game on me
was stuck on a level. got highest upgrade for power shot. after watching ad it froze. and i felt i was finally gonna beat the level. sigh
Has potential but…
This game is incredibly boring. Championship Rush is the only thing worth playing and it’s so buggy it’s stupid. Latest update has it freezing after picks. And don’t think about using special weapons in late rounds because it can bog it down and freeze there too. Fix that and created more types of game play and you might have something.

Convenient Freezing
Just a warning, the game will freeze and crash if you're doing "too well" on a level and will have to restart the app. But you can sure pay them money to "avoid" it. Disgusting.

Poor adaptive behavior
Unfortunately, this game has an adaptive scaling that ends up hurting progress and leads to frustration. The more you upgrade the harder the enemy health is. Leading to pointless upgrades and a seeming endless dark tunnel.
In order to make the game playable, we should be able to upgrade without the penalty of having the enemy upgrade on the same level as well.
Should be simple, each level is harder, and you get rewarded for going up through purchasing upgrades.

Disruptive game flow
I would give this more stars, but the constant interruptions in game flow, including to play ads in the middle of a level, makes this game a pain.
No way backup game
I played this game for a while and loved it however I lost my phone and got a new phone and reinstalled the game and when I went back on it I just thought like every other game it would save your progress but there was no way to back up the progress but overall brilliant game and then going to install it again now and hopefully they have fixed this problem.

Hours of fun
There’s a certain purity of design in space shooters like Neon Wings. They can be as abstract as needed in the service of gameplay. Busting asteroids with missiles and lasers? Sure. A spaceship that can swing a sword? Also good. The glowing vector graphics fit the bill, and the music is fantastic. You typically pick 10 or more upgrades during a single run, and it’s great fun exploring how these can change up how you play and how they interact with each other. This was worth the premium price to enjoy fully without ads.

Please update the game add more skills to spend the boss cells I have a ton and as I go higher on the missions it gets harder but I can’t upgrade my plane anymore than the main upgrade no more slots for boss cells I still give it a 5/5

Might as well be a slot machine
I got to level 150 and deleted and started over. I’m now on level 5 and when I first got here asteroids were ~100hp. I leveled my ship up to 75 and now asteroids are ~2.5k, same level 5 and now I can’t even get to the final boss 🤣

Ads in the middle of the game.
Ads in the middle of the game, really? All of the reviews that are more than 1 star are because they ask for a rating before they bombard you with ads. Not worth downloading.

Forced Ads Down Your Throat
Fun game but contains a disgusting amount of ads. Once progress a little you then unlock “forced ads”. Once you hit this point the game shoves a toxic amount of ads down your throat that makes you wonder why am I even sitting here doing this
