Frequent Annoying Interruptions

This app is easy to use and specific programs are easy to find. I’d normally give it 5 stars. HOWEVER, when I listen for long periods of time, the programming is frequently and randomly interrupted to tell me who the sponsor of the streaming is and to provide details about that business or organization. Again, these announcements would be fine EXCEPT for the fact that they interrupt an ongoing program, the next several seconds of which you miss the program. Countless times these announcements interrupt the program at a critical point, causing me to miss information critical to the story. Even commercial radio broadcasts wait until a break in the program to insert a commercial. These interruptions in the programming on the NEPM app are essentially commercials.

Love it

It’s great to be able to listen to NPR on my phone. I really appreciate the work they do!

Nepm classical

We listen every day. Today, Saturday morning , is especially fine, with music I’ve not heard before. I love the new music and composers.

Mostly works

I don’t think the app needs to be complicated- a PLAY button is all I really need, and it has that.
My complaint is that it sometimes randomly (roughly every hour or so?), restarts the stream in the middle of a story or program, going back to the enforced ads that they place at the start of a stream. It often happens at a critical point in wait wait don’t tell me, and when you get the stream back, it’s at a later point, and you’ve missed the joke.
It might help if they dropped the enforced ads at the state, since you get all the same ads on the stream, dropping them would not be a big deal IMHO.

Love having the app for streaming

I use NEPM app for the classical listening 10-12 hrs a day while working. Thank you NEPM app works flawlessly and I love it.

Love it

My name is Gianna Halama, and I live in New England, so I would watch ads on YouTube about PBS all the time, especially the P-Pals and Dash and Dot.

Car, Phone & Computer

Love it...I work out of the area and it is nice to have NEPM all the time...whether it is on my phone, in my car or on my computer!

Works occasionally

Doesn’t work about 40% of the time

App works fine - have used for about two weeks

I have been using the app for about two to three weeks. The only time it dropped was when my device had a poor signal. It was not a problem with the app.

Works a little

This app is just as bad as their last one, I actively listen less to NPR because of this app. It just stops streaming then can't be continued until you completely close out and shut it down. Then the whole infuriating process starts over again. You can listen for about five minutes. Trash app.

Worst “upgrade” ever

Omg this is the worst “improvement” ever. The streaming drops repeatedly. I’m going to start using my *radio*. Adjusting the antennae is less annoying than this.

Connection drops

Fine when I’m sitting still in my kitchen, but very frustrating if I’m moving about the yard etc

Poorly Updated, perhaps even broken…

The previous versions of this app were all able to list the schedules for the four distinct streams available on digital broadcast. For some reason only two program schedules appear as choices within the app: PBS Kids and the main stream of NEPM. Why not list Create and World? Take your eyes off the ball when you set up the new version? I would expect more from you.
