Decent App for 7 Days, then you pay for nothing!
The free trial of the app was great. The convenience appeared to be worth paying the $45 annual subscription fee, so I signed up and paid it.
Now, I totally regret it. Every time I try to go into the app and access the code, I am told that the trial period is over and I need to subscribe. I did this already and have a receipt from Apple to confirm it.
I tried contacting IEEE, but I was told they are not providing technical support for the app. However, the link to the app is still on the IEEE publication website and they still collect subscription fees.
This is supposed to be an app for engineering professionals offered by a respected engineering organization. Free games have better support than this.

Currently useless
I haven’t been able to open the app for some time now; when first installed it was nice to have in the field, completely useless now.
Horrible
I couldn’t get it to work. Total waste of time and money. I wish it would have worked. It would be nice to have the info on my phone and not carry the book when out of the office. I would give it zero stars if I could.
App won’t open
Complete waste of time and money. Haven’t been able to open the app in years finally got fed up and wrote a review. I don’t remember how much I paid but it was a lot of money to have to continue to use and carry the NESC book every day
Waste of money
This app requires full price to be paid for access to anything. Waste of $4.99. I want my money back.

Our apologies. The intent was to provide the App for $4.99 to those previous owners of the NESC and the NESC Handbook. Unfortunately, the process was a bit convoluted. Thus, the App is now available as an annual subscription for a fraction of the cost to all user.
