It is handy in the sense that you can control the device with your phone.
You can use the mug without the app too. But when you’ve developed the app make sure eth works well. At least just the basics. After downloading and logging in for the third time now, the app crashes at launch. And i have to delete the app, redownload it and relog in.
There have been so many issues as such in the reddit and everywhere but these people don’t seem to care to fix it.

I recently purchased the Nestle e-Mug, and I was really excited to use it. However, my experience has been incredibly frustrating. The iOS app keeps crashing every time I try to connect it to the mug, making it unusable. I've tried reinstalling the app and troubleshooting, but nothing seems to work. It's disappointing, considering I expected a seamless experience. I hope Nestle addresses these issues soon, as the product seems promising but is sadly let down by the app. Would not recommend until they fix these bugs! I am cheated for 6 K bugs and threw itaway in recycle garbage.

I recently purchased the eNescafe coffee machine, excited about the prospect of brewing coffee with just a tap on my phone. However, my enthusiasm quickly turned into frustration as I encountered numerous issues with the eNescafe app.
Despite multiple attempts over the past five days, I have been unable to use the app successfully. It's disheartening to invest in a product with such innovative potential, only to find that it's practically unusable without the accompanying app.

Waste of money
Such a worst app I have ever seen, this app is like use and through things we can only use this app one time second time the app is not opening, if you have to use the app again then you have to uninstall the app and then reinstall. I have spend 6.5k to buy this. If they will give these types of services then in future Nescafé will drown their name.

On iOS, the app repeatedly crashes and shuts down without any error message. One has to repeatedly delete and re-install the app.
A machine that doesn’t work without an app- what use it would be. Nescafé, please tighten your belts, and provide value to the consumer for which you have charged them.

Hopelessly Disappointed
Why on earth is the app not working??
It defeats the whole purpose of the concept of doing it through app when the app itself never works. I spent bloody 6.5k for something that doesn't work so I feel cheated. Please fix this app or I'll have to file a complaint in consumer court for false advertising and selling defective product.

Needs to be installed everytime you drink a coffee
This app works only once, it the first time when you install it. From the second time the app crashes everytime you start it. Without the app, a lot of functionalities of the mug are constrained. The updates are of no use. I am unsure how the quality guys at apple allowed this to even debut at the AppStore

As others mentioned, there was an issue due to iOS 13 compatibility. Nescafé rectified those issues in the update.
The APP works fine now and I can easily connect it to the emug.
The only issue is that the app failed to load sometimes. Uninstalling and reinstalling will fix it.

You NEED to develop an app that works!
While the coffee maker itself is great, its supposed to work theough the app. So an app that doesn’t work defeats your entire product!! I dont know whether Nescafe is not bothered by these reviews since we have already bought the product, but word of mouth is a strong tool! I dont see myself endorsing your product simply cz a dysfunctional app means vvv linited use of the product! Please fix the glitches

Good concept but useless app
I have purchased this machine thinking it’s a new concept but even after 10 days unable to use it as it’s not getting connected through Bluetooth. The message I get is “ can’t download the configuration as it doesn’t support in your country” . Can’t use without Bluetooth so have wasted 6.5k.
Either give solution or take back the product. Else the only option is to go to consumer court.

Did not expect this from nestlé
The app is bad. It does not work. When i try to open the app, it does not go beyond the main page and pops an error saying that the configurations for my country could not be downloaded. This is embarrassing for such a prestigious company to come up with such a poor-working or/and useless app. Please fix the app.

At first the app was working just fine but since last 2 weeks I have un installed and re installed the app so many times and it’s still not opening and only showing the error that your country’s configuration cannot be downloaded and I have a IPhone XR with plenty of space available and internet is also really fine , idk what to do . Please suggest .

The app doesn’t work properly. Every time I want to make coffee using the app, it never opens so I have to delete and download the app each time. And now it doesn’t beyond the country page. Very disappointed. It’s been two months since I bought the machine and I’ve been able to use the app only twice. Such a shame

Too many glitches!
This product from NESCAFÉ is amazing! But the app is equally bad. Half the time, the app crashes. I have to delete and install it again. It has so many glitches. In the morning, when I want my coffee, I have to sit and fix the app first.
From the past 2 days, the app is not even opening. It says that the setup can not be downloaded in your region. But I was using the app 2 days back!

Waste of money and app is frustrating
1. Worst app ever, not user friendly for Bluetooth connection and keeps crashing in iPhone X
2. Inspite of setting hot level to full, for warm coffee you'll have to repeat preparation process for 4 times, forget about hot
3.App is not supported in USA
4. It's same as electric milk frother, best of the best brand is half the price and better functioning
5. After going through so much trouble you'll get half a cup coffee due to its tiny capacity.

App requires a lot of improvement
The app isn’t that user friendly for creating custom recipes. For example I cannot select any coffee mix other than NESCAFÉ Classic, I shoud be able to add any ingredients to my recipe but the app only allows to add from a limited selection, I cannot add a custom picture to my recipe. Also it keeps on logging me out if I create an account using Facebook and also I cannot change my profile picture that way. I cannot even play the game when the coffee is being prepared because I disabled it once and now I cannot find how to enable it again.

Nice app but game doesn’t work on iPhoneX
One thing that is definitely not working is the game. On iPhone X the play button gets hidden under the ‘notch’, do you not test in newer devices? Even changing orientation doesn’t work..Otherwise very seamless app experience when it comes to connecting with coffee maker and making coffee.
