Won't work with password authentication. Needs update.
The demo of this looks amazing! Better then the official netdata app. However, if your netdata page has a password on it using password authentication with nginx, this app will not connect or authenticate. what a shame. waste of a great looking demo. I wish the developer would update this to allow for password authentication. I'd even pay if the demo of this looks as good as the real thing.

Wouldn’t work for me
I set the app up as specified. I got the error that the remote server could not be reached. I used a web browser on my phone using the exact sage address and was able to connect.

Doesn’t work with Nginx auth
Can’t get it to connect with basic auth or without using Nginx proxy. Not willing to open netdata up on the network.
