About
NetWho finds the devices on your Wi-Fi network and tells you what each one is: an Apple TV, a printer, a smart plug, a NAS, a game console, a camera. Most network scanners give you a list of addresses; NetWho gives you names.
It asks your network the way the devices themselves talk: Bonjour (mDNS), UPnP, NetBIOS, TP-Link Kasa, and their open ports and web pages. Then it reads what they say about themselves, the names their owners gave them and the model numbers they announce, to tell a HomePod mini from a Sonos, a Synology from a Raspberry Pi, a Chromecast from a Fire TV. For each device it shows what decided its type and where its name came from.
• Every device on your network, named and typed, in a few seconds
• What's new since last time, what's offline, and what's moved to another address
• Services: every web page, file share and app server on the network, one tap to open
• A NAS's admin page, the right one: Synology DSM, UGREEN UGOS, QNAP
• Ping and port-scan any device
• Name devices, set their type and add notes; NetWho remembers them on each network
• Spots devices that got no address from DHCP
• Copy any detail with a tap, or share a device's details
Private by design: NetWho talks only to your local network. No accounts, no ads, no analytics, nothing sent anywhere. What it remembers stays on your iPhone or iPad.
NetWho is the mobile sibling of lsnet, the open-source command-line network scanner, and identifies devices by the same rules.
