Concerned about future support
This app has not been updated in 4 years. It is a very useful tool for managing and controlling my stereo receiver. It would be great if this app is kept up and running or if a different app would be able to manage the products this app was created for. Some documentation on that shift would be great too.

Not longer working in iOS 14.4

Dated / May not be supported
This app is functional for older Yamaha products, but no longer is being updated. It is missing updated features like full screen support for iPhone X and later. It also lacks any Control Center support.

Works but lacks controlability
The app works fine for what is is designed for. However, the lack of controls for zone A/B selection is a big miss. This is the only reason why I give it three stars.

Can't change tone, balance, or A/B speakers.
Very nice app!
This app is so easy to use. It lets you control your receiver from an easy-to-navigate interface on your iPhone or iPad using your wifi connection. It is so much easier to use than the remote or from the face of the receiver. I fully recommend it!
Missing key feature
The app is a utility and generally functions ok. Start up time is a bit slower than ideal. However, for those of us who use connected receivers and enable the them to be turned on automatically via network (e.g. AirPlay, Spotify connect, etc.), this app should allow for a programmable power down function. For example, set the receiver to turn off every night at 10pm in case it isn't manually turned off before such a time.

Nice Ap
This AP works with the Yamaha network receivers. It works great! All of the features work well. I almost rated it Five stars but I think they should have included the ability to change the bass and treble and select the A and B speakers. Otherwise a very good AP. It works very well and makes my Yamaha receiver a much better buy.

Volume control stopped working

A/B speaker selector
Great app but it's missing a A/B speaker selector. Should not be difficult to add it.
Almost Perfect
Great app! I'll up my review to 5 stars if Yamaha will add basic controls (play/pause, forward, back) to the lock screen.

Use with R-N500
SOOOOOO close to 5 stars!!!
It keeps me from having to walk to my stereo except for choosing between speaker zones. I use airplay from my phone and pc, this app for volume, all I need is to be able to choose which zone is active from the app and the receiver could be behind drywall and I wouldn't need to touch it!!

OK , but could be perfect with small fixes.
It works fine with my CD-N500, does the basics. However the major functionality missing is the ability to control internet radio stations. You have to use the remote control to navigate through bookmarks. C'mon, it should be there from day one. I can navigate through 50 GB of music on my NAS but cannot switch between radio stations!
Small fixed needed for DLNA server browsing, application shows deleted files which bring some mess.

The app lacks standard features, like library search, rewinding, time it finish etc.
