Does not save the photo correctly
App Continuously Crashes
Every time I try to save a photo it crashes. After reading a review from 5 years ago about this same issue, I guess it won’t ever be solved.
Paid become subscription & we,paid users get nothing back
Wait, since when it become subscription base app. I'm sure that I bought it back in 2019. It feel like scam. I bought it back then I bought iPh XR & want to try night mode. Now that I change to 17 and notice it's subscription base. For this, I'll be deleting & give you 1 star even tho I gave 5 back in 2019.

Perfect
Very good app
It doesn’t save your pics to your gallery!
I spend a day taking pictures and clicking to the save button trusting they were saved in my gallery. No photos were saved. Very frustrating. I realized I needed to click share with every picture taken to be able to save it to the gallery! Very annoying and not user friendly! I don’t know why they make this change. It’s horrible to use now! Very frustrated and disappointed with this update!

Newbie at photography
I like the app. I do notice a difference between it and the normal camera for night photography. But I wish they had more guides or help forums for people to talk about it. I recommend an official Reddit for us users to talk to each other.
Broken on my iPhone 17 Pro Max
Produces horizontal striations across photos taken with my iPhone 17 Pro Max, making them useless. This doesn’t happen with other camera apps. Oddly, the issue temporarily goes away when I enable spatial mode after taking the photo, so it appears to possibly be caused by image corruption by the app.

They switched to paid sub
I have been using this app since day one. Paid for the app but now they switched to a sub service way to screw up your customers.
Was great now useless
Was a wonderfully useful camera app with great ai enhancing features but the latest update broke it for me on iOS using 16 pro max the pictures come with artefact’s ruing the taken images once in the camera roll. No other camera app or the stock iOS one is affected to.
Why do I have to pay a monthly fee now and why isn’t my payment for the subscription recognized?
I’ve been a longtime loyal user and now I’ve lost my app to an expensive monthly or yearly dues? What’s up with that? Rating you a one star until I get a reply that makes sense. I ended up subscribing but the app doesn’t recognize my paid subscription even though it’s recognized in Apple’s App Store! Once a good app turned into a terrible waste of time and money! Please, please answer my email and fix your app! This review was probably a waste of my time, but fueled by using a good app that turned into an unusable app! New programmer?

Why do I have to pay a monthly fee now?

Almost perfect! Even so, well worth the subscription cost
Excellent app. One of the few that I have a paid subscription to, and a worthy replacement for the old CortexCam.
A couple of things that need to be fixed in order to make it perfect. 1) Most default settings persist, but the AI Upscaling setting does not. Please allow eg 48mp upscaling to persist across sessions. 2) on iPhone16, we still only see 0.5x, 1x and 5x cameras. There is a 2x that is missing - pls add. 3) The app does not automatically switch to macro mode at close range unlike the default camera; you have to manually select macro mode. Pls make this automatic (or at least an option for that to be auto), 4) the macro mode isn’t actually macro mode, all it appears to do is “zoom” the 1x lens. With the true macro mode on the default camera you can hold the phone an inch away from the subject and it will focus at super close range. You can’t do that with the “macro” option on NeuralCam. Pls fix that.
Beyond that - the app takes incredible photos and the AI features such as brightening are tremendous. Love it.

The application slowed down the overall performance of the iPhone XS. It is not usable in everyday life. The developers should spend more time testing before charging a fee.
Disappointed
I purchased this app close to about 3 1/2 years ago. Now that it’s asking for a monthly membership I will be uninstalling. Shouldn’t us customers that have already purchased this app be able to maintain at least a membership or be grandfathered in?

Took Away Features
I am so disappointed that an app I used and love for years, with features I have relied on, has now taken them away with this new subscription model forced on us. It is so disheartening going through the menu and seeing a paywall on features we all enjoyed as long-time supporters.

I paid for the app when it was a one time purchase. Now all those features are locked behind a subscription wall.
It didn’t work for Photomator and users won’t let it work for neural cam.
Do not download the app let alone use subscribe to use camera features.
